Visa checkout took too long. Shoulda paypal'd.

The website's got something wrong with it. The price kept on decreasing every time I checked out. After 3 clicks, it was $4.10. Dodgy. https://i.imgur.com/1YTE4Z2.png

      • Probably its bugging out cause there are none left.

  • Rather interesting.

Its still in my cart, when i go to pay it reduces price and tells me its currently out of stock etc.

don't fiddle with the slider. It will break. I had one of these. Bad design.

… said the Mother to the Daughter

    • Are they worse quality compared to the old extreme usb flash drives? I've been using a 64gb extreme usb 3.0 drive for years now and never had any issues, everything feels very solid and well built.

      • -2

if you don't play with it by sliding it back and forth while idly fidgeting, it should survive. I can't help myself. But a gadget should be designed to survive fidgeting.

        • Weird, I have the old non-Pro Extreme 32GB and I used to do that all the time when I used it as my regular flash drive. It's still working fine.

  • order placed for two. lets see what happens. thx.
it says clearence so it is possible the price is very low. and it is delivery only. feels like clearence.

just got a text message and an email saying order confirmed with a number. an invoice is coming later. they will let me know when it is shipped. so far so good.

      • order cancelled. guess someone was right.

    • How much was delivery for two? There was no C & C options for anyone?

Missed it but would have loved two of these for $31.95 delivered.

I have missed many of these on this fast drive, have the older 32gb version but this is faster as well as more space.

      • +1

$31.95? 8+8+5.95=21.95. delivery fee for two is same as for one.

      • +3

For me, shipping was $9.95. Received order confirmation through email billed total $17.95, lowest price I could find for this drive were between $50-$70. Figured it’s a good deal for $17.95 if they do process it through. Someone mentioned above postage was $5.95 for them. I think the pricing is location based. But last time it came back in stock, shipping was showing as $14.95 to my location, seems like they have jacked the postage price to compensate.

  • out of stock at least for now.

Thanks for placing your order with us. However after careful review, we have decided to not accept your order. We apologise for any inconvenience.

    LOL

    • I imagine 8 or 10 executives meeting in the boardroom to discuss the pros and cons of honouring your order, and eventually agreeing on the above message to send through…

      • +1

Thanks for your message. However after careful review, I have decided not to accept your refusal to sell me the stick. Please proceed with the sale.

  • Shows OOS for me

  • Oos

  • Pretty sure it's a price error. Someone probably missed a 0 at the end.

  • Still waiting on some 64g usbs back order from 2 weeks ago .. when they have some at the next store 60km away .. Store transfer would be easy to do .. doesn't take 2 weeks.

    • I'm still waiting as well!

  • Serves myself right for sleeping!

I could go and find the answer myself but since these always seem to set themselves up as the same drive name on my computer. I'm wondering with the cost of SSD's etc if you could use one of these on a 3-3.1 port as a game drive. Install one game per USB and just label them. Not ideal obviously but!

  • +3

Paid $60 for one of these recently. The write speeds are the same at the earlier 64GB version but sustained write is higher. The black die comes off the aluminium in a very shot period of time (I'd say a week of just being in my pocket)

This is still my preferred series of USB stick but they really need to make the move to USB 3.2 and improve write performance.

For this price it's a steal.

  • $14.95 postage kills the deal.

    • Pick up?

      • never had the pick up option.

        • +1

          Incel?

    • +1

It's still cheap for this model.

  • noooooo more stock

  • hopefully not a price error?

  • OUT OF STOCK.
Don't waste your time on this. Most properly FAKE!

    • +1

      Most properly indeed.

    • No. I bet that it's a pricing error which quickly led to out of stock. There were people who actually thought that this price was legit.

  • +1

    Refunded no explanation :(

    • and they "look forward to future transactions with you".

  • +1

Refunded yesterday and received another email with explanation and $20 gc out of goodwill.

  • No refund for me but my order went through very early so i might get lucky

    • Nope scratch that. Found my 'screw you' email in my spam box

  • +1

Refunded now and a $20 e-gift card promised.

    • huh why don't they just let you have it then O.o, what was it suppose to be like $50+ ?

      • +1

Considering that it currently retails for $67 at for example PC Case Gear or $69 at Umart. I would say that is a yes it was supposed to be like $50+. This is not a cheap flash drive.

  • Looks like Gerry pulled one over us ol' OzBargainers this time!

I imagine Gerry stays up late at night plotting revenge fantasies against us for driving business away from his Hardly Normal empire. He seems like the type to hold a grudge and/or the type to use his immense wealth to influence Australian politics and the economy.
