  • love my coolcabana!

made my Australia Day even greater

  • Thanks! Was waiting for a deal on these.
Figured out that you don’t need to buy a ticket. if you add both to cart, get to checkout, input code and then go back and remove ticket it keeps the 20% discount for Cabana only.

  • I've got one of these cabana's and I don't recommend it at all.
The design is flawed. On a windy day the roof acts as a sail, they need slits in it to allow the wind to pass through. End up breaking one of the arms and bending the spike.
Customer service was good though, they sent replacement parts without asking any questions.

    • +1

That’s a big call - what $150 umbrella works great in super windy conditions? We’ve had our cool cabana for over two years now and would have used it over 20+ days and easily 100 hours. We recently had an arm break and also the spike is slightly bent, but the bent spike does not affect operation. The arm cost $25 to replace.

The beauty of these is the simplicity to easily erect a sun shelter in a minute or two that is far superior to a conventional umbrella for standard beach use.

Will it last forever, definitely not. Are parts available locally to repair it, yes!

      • All they have to do is layer the roof so that the wind can pass through it.

The 4 corners could have a slimmer profile, reduces the surface area so that the wind doesn't catch it and the main pole could be beefed up a little.

I agree it's easy to setup and take down but like I have stated, it's got it's flaws.
