RACV members get discounted tickets for Village and Palace cinemas too (exc The Nova).

Permanent discount so far as I know

The regular Hoyts vouchers for RACV members are $12.50 + fees. The $10.50 + fees eVouchers are a time-limited offer.

  • Picked up a couple. Thanks OP.

    • Birds of prey was the only reason I would buy this. People hardly watch all the other garbage. SMH.

Are you eligible to be a RACV member if you only have roadside assistance?

    • +2

Yes you're a member if you only have roadside (That's me right now!) You can even get their "personal membership" for $36 per year and get access with no RACV policy or product required.

    • Yes, that's all I have and I've been been getting movie ticket vouchers for years.

  • Is this better than the Optus perk? Or is it for a fewer selection of movies or something?

    • I also see "Booking fee will apply", has anyone tried this, and seen what this actually translates the actual price to?

Can the regular $10.50 vouchers be used for cinemas with the reclining chairs (and if so, will it add to the price?)

Thanks for the insight anyone who is able!

      • +2

I thought all Hoyts cinemas, or the majority of them, had reclining chairs now

        • Amazing! I've been avoiding Melb Central but glad they have the chairs now!

      • +2

The reclining chair surcharge is gone now (I believe all Hoyts are upgraded with them now). The only extra costs Hoyts would charge is if you book online, see a film in 3D or in an Xtremescreen cinema.

        • Oh really, that's great news!

        • Still no recliners in Brookvale hoyts
