        Not everywhere. Its a large number of places but not everyone.

        Places with name chefs and $100+ mains should be paying properly. If the rents too high move to a cheap place like some are doing in south Melbourne area.

      Be careful, they could steal from you too. The last time they had this deal, I had spent $100 at 18 Argyle st, which is listed twice in this deal and never got the cash back. Contacted Amex but got no where. But I received a cash back from the underground place at 11 bridge st.

      I was told by one of the rockpool dining places that I couldn't combine the eatclub discount with a gift card. Had to pay full price with the gift card.

    I'm assuming there's no dramas buying a gift card in store and qualifying for this offer?
    Online would be even better, but in store is manageable.

    Made a booking on Virgin a couple of hours ago and still to receive Amex email. Anyone else had the same problem? The pending transaction on Amex shows as 'Virgin Australia - NZ direct'.
