Just saw this while I was in the city.

I know Big W is selling it for $298 but this is $1 less and also has free shipping!

Edit: They also have the 320gb model with playstation move and start the party for $397 too

        Haven't checked other places but it's probably the same price at other stores aswell.

      $299 isn't standard price. Standard RRP is $349 and all retailers will be back at that price soon. Eb has already put their price back up. Only Big W, Game and JB still offering ~$299

        If i'm correct, JB only offers 160GB PS3 bundle with 2 games + HDMI cable for $349
        and 320GB with 3 games + HDMI cable for $449 or something

          In store they have it for $298. They might drop it if GAME does, just a guess.

          My bet is that there'll be $349 bundles by Christmas - so maybe some time in September.

    There is no assurance that this will stay RRP, Sony are weird and they might just be trying to increase thier user base for awhile, never thought I would see the day when it was cheaper than the 360

      360 Kinect 4G bundle is $299 quite often, it's a very good price but not quite apples and apples.

      MS hasn't even mentioned anything about the next gen xbox.
      PS3 being released a year late

      I doubt that they would bring out PS4 until 2013 AT LEAST
      besides MS and Sony both think their consoles will be good enough until 2015-16.
