  • which one would be better, spadling or wilson?
i have seen kmart selling spadling gold edition for $39

Anything apart from the composite leathet and full grain leather Spaldings are actually quite terrible.

      The Wilson one for sure.

      • but ..but … they said on the ball they are offical ball of NBA : |

        • +1

Yeah, they make a ball that is the official ball of the NBA, but the one in KMart is not it. The official ball is $214 from Amazon AU.

      Spadling… That's a paddling

  • We need more Bball deals!

  • I like this ball and the Wilson Evolution

  • I've got this ball.

    Not my fave.

The grip is good, but I find it a little "hard". Not as soft as the Molten ones.

But for the price, i think it's OK.

    • These are actually softer but the cover is thinner.

It is just a different feel but overall, a nice alternative for running drills.

  • Always thought the molten balls were official…times must have changed.

    • +1

Official is a very loose term.

Some "official" refers to official sponsors of the event. Some refer to regulation specifications.

Molten is still the ball of choice when I was last involved in a coaching capacity.

We trained with both the Wilson and the Molten as the leagues may change sponsors between years. Changing balls should not have any perceptible change in player stats.

  • This is back in stock

  • +2

It's not back in stock as of 14/02 and that above link is for the Replica ball.

    • You are correct.

    • Thanks, good eye! Almost bought it
