  • Coles North Sydney have no idea what this promo is. Anyone found a Coles that have this around Sydney?

  • Just got a book today.

It contains 62 recipes, heavily themed with Cadbury ingredients obviously. The original (1980) and reprinted 2011 ones contains 108 recipes according to Wikipedia.

if you're just buying the ingredients to get hold of the book, you'll be spending $9 to get it, or you could get the 2011 edition for $11.24 on Amazon.

I'm thinking of returning mine as not worth it

  • +1

Thanks for the info. We've got the reprint from Amazon and it's definitely…. interesting.

It kicks off the girls section with a cake that looks like a sewing machine and then a kitchen. Maybe Cadbury just removed all the 1950's recipes that may offend people and the 62 is what's left.

It's a bit of nostalgic fun more than anything. The exact cake my wife had for her 5th birthday is in there and she's going to make it for our daughter.
