      I purchased a 4 camera dvr camera set off them probably a year ago now. The camera quality is really, really good for the price. I had one issue where I forgot the password to the system and the rep helped me after I messaged them and solved the issue. My friend purchased a set off them after he saw mine and he hasn't had any issues with his yet.

          Which ones? If it's an Jooan NVR one you don't need your Synology. If it's an IP camera it works to NAS and online storage usually. I have one Synology and 2 Qnap. The cheap ones of each are so dam slow you kill them with one video stream (which is your license allowance). The better ones like QNAP 453BE have a few licenses but you normally use them for other better uses than Ip cameras. NVRs are cheap now! A good NAS is still costly, use it wisely.

    Cool, adding one of these kits to the other dozens I have played around with for many years. To be true when I started with IP cameras etc about 15 years back for monitoring a remote location it cost me $140 (equal to around $200 now according to the RBA) for a not very true color indoor camera I then used under a veranda until it failed after maybe 3 years. That was one camera with one PSU. Tonight I bought a kit with an NVR, 4 cameras, 5 PSU's, a mouse and a sticker for that price (on special). This stuff is getting incredibly cheap these days. I only need to add a Hard Drive and my cupboard has many from old projects and PC's. I must add in the last few years experimenting with IP Wireless cameras my SV3C ones have been very very good to date.

            @MuddyClear: Nope. They are a wireless camera that needs power but wifi back to the nvr box not your router so don't use/load your home wifi. It's a neat idea that leads to a quicker install.

                @MuddyClear: The main point is you only run one lead to each camera either way. For POE you have to run an ethernet cable from a POE router or injector (another expense) which could be some distance away. With a wifi one you just need power nearby to plug into it, no POE injector and no long cable runs. They both have merits but I have found the wifi path easier for diy.

    I bought the 4×1080p Wireless Security Camera System and it is working fine but the app i installed on my iphone is very basic and everytime i want to scroll to a certain time of a video, it buffers for easy 20-30 sec to play. even on wifi. Can you please assist?
