Saw these on amazon, Control Hue lights with more the look of a normal light switch. No batteries required

    no batteries, dual lights/zones ability and looks more like a light switch.

    Each to their own really.

    Dont get me wrong I have 4 dimmers and 1 tap set up, but they still look out of place next to the light switch

      i just shorted mine and put the dimmer over the top of the hole. Only one switch no accidental turning off the smart light. All problems solved.

          @asa79: The hue switch comes with that backplate so basically replaces my old switch 1 for 1. Basically just modernised the look.

            @unhappywizard: unfortunately for me, my backplates are horizontal as they are gang switches.

            I could still do as @unhappywizard did but my remote would be sideways.

              @bargaino: What do you mean? They sell the hue dimmer switch in au. The backplate size matches up exactly and I just use the provided adhesive tape so there's no need to line up any screw holes.

    There's also the Hue Smart Button, which would sit over the top of a large-plate switch, if you just wanted an on-off button. US product but it is battery powered so no wiring hassles.
