These were previously on sale for $9 shipped. I bought a few in this previous deal

      Any chance of a review?

It works fine. All of these types of 'airvent' chargers seem to have trouble with the larger phones (note 9) just due to the vent clip not being very strong

I've had mine for nearly a year now. Pretty good, keeps my iphone well mounted and handy for long trips with the wireless charging.

Bought when it was 15 a while back. Had great experience with it. Highly recommended for the price.

    I have this one:
    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-nano-grip-car-qi-phone-ch…

Only $9 delivered with Kogan first. Has a vent and a dash mount. I like this better as it has a ball joint to angle it better.

    • Your link gets 10% off the gravity phone holder too

    • How does the dash mount affix to the dash? Do you have to glue a magnet to the dash or something? That page isn't very clear!

Oh and does it use Micro-USB to connect to the charger?

      • i would assume double sided adhesive foam/tape.

the 'micro absorption' stuff gets dirty after a while and needs to be cleaned probably once a week or so. they also break down in the sun.

        • Actually not too bad. I've been using it with my Note 10+ and it hasn't fallen off.
The magnetic ball joint seems to weaken in the sun, but if I put the aircon on it's fine (i.e. get in the hot car, phone on pad, very floppy ball joint, aircon on, all good)

      • I think it comes with double sided tape, but I use the vent mount.

        Yes it uses micro USB.

Had it for a few months and it works well

Kogan 10W Qi Fast Charge Gravity Car Mount $15.99

Is this what you mean by gravity car??

    • that's exactly what I imagined

  • Do people find this annoying when theres no phone in the holder?
i have a similar one, not sure if its the same but when there is no phone, the bottom part rattles like mad and gets so annoying

  • Says rapid charging, unfortunately it barely charges at all.

Using Google Maps + music playing can't keep the charge going up, guess that's better than it going down lol…

  • I bought one of these (similar) recently from K Mart, for my uber driving - 2 problems

    1. Vent clip two weak to hold an iPhone XR (XR too heavy - clip just falls off or droops)
    2. Wireless charging deteriorates battery life

Due to the vent clip not being strong enough, I had to frankenstein the bracket, using a windscreen mount from an older unit i had. Trouble was the XR overheated because it was a. in the sun and b. not getting a nice blast of cool air as I'd junked the pee-weak vent mount. I've started using a rubber band to ensure the phone is snug against the induction charge pad because if it's not, the charger will increase the power output to bridge the gap, thus increasing heat.
