20%+ off Bowden's Own Products when Stacking Deals @ Repco
10OFF

Stacking a few Repco deals is currently giving deep discounts (>45%) to the Bowden's Own car care range. Here is my recommendation to take full advantage of it. You are basically applying the current sale on Bowden's of 20-25%, with Repco Ignition (free to join) sale of 30% as well as auto club member sale of 20%; all of which stack with the spend X get Y off deal on at the moment.

Using the The Bowdens Own Little Intro Pack as a guide I have created a recommended kit that gives you full size bottles in place of the mini bottles in the Intro Kit.

Item Price
Wash Bucket $11.99
Great Barrier Thingy $14.99
Nanolicious Wash $15.99
Wheely Clean 2x 500ml $20.99
Naked Glass $10.99
Shagtastic Wash Pad $16.99
The Big Green Sucker $31.99
Drop Bear $17.99

This gets you to $127.93 after all the in-cart discounts and a $20 off $100 spend is added (the Intro Kit is $188).

However, you are missing the Microfibre Wash, Lazy Wax, Boss Gloss and Big Softie from the Intro Kit. These are not on sale but including them might help you get to $150 spend to then get $35 off. If you are an auto club member (NRMA/RACV etc) there is currently 20% off full priced items so try and find someone with a membership for the full priced items (you only need the member number at checkout); their system is smart enough to apply the 20% to full priced if you mix your cart. 10OFF gets you 10% off if you can't get a member number.

  • Personally I only think you need Lazy OR Boss and would recommend Boss as you can spray it on your Big Green Softie and wax while you dry (recommended by Bowden's).
  • I am on the fence with the Microfibre Wash as I usually get great results with towels using bicarb soda as a detergent and cleaning vinegar in the softener drawer. Having said that, I got it in the Intro Pack and it has cleaned the cloths well. Car care aficionados will say that a microfibre cleaning solution is a must.
  • Big Softie is nice but I think the Drop Bear can do most of the jobs it says it is meant for; it's also really just a microfibre cloth. The Naked Glass does come with the Big Softie in a pack but since Naked is $11 in this sale and the Softie is $15, it might be worth buying them separately.

The only things that I would recommend on top of all this is the Claying Rubber and I am buying this in this sale. I have used a clay bar before with great success and I like the sound of this item as it does a similar job and lasts longer.

Also consider the Tyre Sheen for your tyres (after you actually scrub them with soapy water and a hard brush) and all your black rubber and plastic trim that has lost the deep black. Vinyl Care is also ok if you like a nice interior.

If you have any questions about using Bowden's Own, check out their blog as it has some really good guides on how to clean your car.

No affiliation, just like the product and they are Australian Owned and Made which is important.
