    $299?

    • Oops, updated title

  • +4

No heart rate, no NFC and no GPS and the mechanical hand overlay looks annoying

    • +2

No heart rate, no NFC and no GPS
Yikes, what a dud. Cheap for a reason.

      No heart rate

It wouldn't be accurate enough to be useful.

  • Even theverge review has gone 404…

    • I've fixed the typo, it was missing a slash

What a terrible watch lol. Spend a little more and get a good smart watch. Or spend a little less and get a better fitness watch.

people now think what can go wrong with 150, it was 300, bargain of the year.
a month later this will be collecting dust in the drawer….

Still holding out for xiaomi to hurry up and release their mi smart watch globally.

  • it is 299, not 150???

    • Did you read?

just read the title and clicked to purchase, now realised ‘price not updated yet’

When a smart watch with decent features can last a week on one charge then I'll be interested.

  • I mean…. the physical hands on the watch face are super annoying. There's a dedicated button to lay the hands flat so you can read the messages/notifications!! Who thought that was a good idea? Fail!

People complained about the "flat tyre" look on the Moto 360 when released… Umm.. that's nothing compared to this!

    Madness….

  • Using the $20 Concierge Credit would bring down to $129

Surly that is a good price for a semi decent smart watch with a longer battery life then the majority.

Yes it has its flaws, but at $129 its price works, at RRP its terrible.

    Thoughts?

And would this work well with an iPhone… i know not all features, but using it for basic features, vs the same in a fitbit for the price, wouldnt this be a better deal

  • This is actually a good price for this watch BUT, It runs Android Wear which is crap since it's still on the crappy qualcomm chipset.

  • Already have LG Watch Urbane wondering worth the change.

    • I have that watch too and coincidentally mine just died.
Though I don't have need for all the features people are complaining about it missing this could be a nice cheap replacement.

      • The W7 looks better than Urbane, I don't like the Urbane very thick edge
