  • Nice, will want to head early as the popular sizes will get cleared out pretty quick like last time. I actually find them to be pretty good moulded plastic with no streaks or squeaks. Also includes plenty connectors. Recommended.

    • Meh. I bought a set for my Getz and found they were difficult to fit and don't perform very well. Yes, they're cheap, but you get what you pay for in this case. I'll be getting a better brand next time.

Wow even on sale Costco makes nice coin on these :P

  • can any experts tell me how do you get the right ones? i'm lost about different length and connectors etc..

      • thanks this is for the Trico Force brand, but how do you refer it to the Michenlin wipers?

        • the model numbers are usually a measurement in mm for the length of the blade, regardless of the brand. driver/passenger are sometimes different lengths.

they include a number of different attachments to fit most vehicles. Unless you have that car from a country that technically no longer exists, you should be fine.

hint: measure the length of the blades currently on your car.

Heres the michelin link - (may help more then the Trico one.??) - https://au.michelin-lifestyle.com/en/promotions/au-wiper-bla…

          • @MadKaw: yeah got the right model numbers thanks

@UncleCheapSteam: Worth mentioning this style of wiper blade is actually pretty rubbish. I have tried a few brands and they all sucked.

the best I have found have been the Bosch ones Repco sell, or the traditional metal arm style.

              • @Laserface: i have only been using Bosch tho, they cost like $50 something a set shipped, thought would give this one a shot for that price, but if you say so, i would save my petrol.

                • +1

@UncleCheapSteam: Yeah someone else confirmed it below. they used to be branded Goodyear and these are the ones I bought, hated, and immediately threw in the bin after the first rain.

Bosch are expensive but they are absolutely worth it. these are garbage.

    • There should be a book where they put wiper blades with listing of car models and the corresponding sizes for front and rear(wagon, SUV) blade.

    • Don't need to be an expert. When you get there, there's a flip book listing every car make and model. Find yours and will tell you which size you need. Generally it's usually 14 or 16 inch for most models.

  • Michelin Wiper Blades $11.99 Each (Was Were $14.99)

    • You cannot use WERE for EACH

      • Yes you CAN, because it is EACH PAIR

        • -1

I did not see the PAIR anywhere in this post. Besides, I think Costco sell a single blade, not a pair.

          • @langthang:

I did not see the PAIR anywhere

            "Michelin Wiper BladeS"

        • No you can't. A pair is singlar noun… it is a set of two items. I vote for was (even though were sounds better). What a rock job

          • +1

            @maddoglee:

            No you can't.

            BladeS is a plural.

            The BladeS Were $14.99

            • @jv: why were you talking pairs then?

            • -1

@jv: Simple enough concept. It refers to the PRICE, hence WAS $14.99

              • +1

                @[Deactivated]:

                It refers to the PRICE

The noun in the title is BladeS.
There is no mention of the word 'price' in the title.

                The BladeS Were $14.99

                • -1

@jv: Understand it's stretching your basic comprehension but what do the numbers after the dollar sign refer to? Two reasons why you fall into the trap - well three, but I'll leave the obvious. (1) Plural use of the verb sounds more comfortable eg lollies $1, were $2, so has entered the vernacular even though the number refers to the price not the item(s); (2) It means bogans don't have to stretch their grey matter to understand the implied noun.

even though the number refers to the price

The sentence of the title does not state the word 'price', so your interpretation is wrong.

                    • -1

@jv: I wasn't interpreting, I was explaining. Apparently you need further assistance. The clue is in the second last word of my previous reply. Found out when the bushfire crisis started yet?

                        I wasn't interpreting

you were, as the title does not state the word 'price' as the noun. The noun is 'blades'.

@jv: English is obviously your forte but Dunning-Kruger probably explains many of your comments better.

@gimmeabreak: RUOK? Hope those negs made your feel better. One way to get over your hangup (and disappointment) might be to stop searching for my comments and try finding and posting your very first deal after 9 years as a member. Just an idea.

                              • @[Deactivated]: Get over your self importance mate - you've got over 3,000 comments, you are hard to miss. No searching required.

And you just can't help but bite.

                                RU OK?

                                • @gimmeabreak: You just happened upon my comment and thought you'd waste 4 negs and add your own inanity to his? Lol, you really are hooked.

                                  • @[Deactivated]: Yeh I did actually.

And those negs hold such value don't they.

                                  • @[Deactivated]: Sorry I was on the phone - anything else?

I must admit I am feeling thoroughly destroyed by the impact of that Lol.

                              • @[Deactivated]: aaaaaannnnnnd neg.

                              • @[Deactivated]: Now run it by me again - are you interpreting or explaining?

The Michelins are good bang for the buck but not as good as Bosch Aero. I have been using Michelins (previously named Goodyear but Michelin is a better brand name)for a couple of years on a few different vehicles but will likely stump up the extra dollars and go Bosch again as in my experience their life is much better, they are a better fit (the Michelin multi fit attachments can be problematic) and do a better job.

    • +1

I knew I'd seen them before. I recall buying similar from Costco years ago and they were in fact totally crap.

the Bosch ones were more expensive by a long way but infinitely better. Smoother, Quieter, lasted years longer.
