    Yes. The best deal ever.

  • +1

Are these guys TTS? Any tips I should know before placing an order?

    • +5

The shirts are looser around the middle than what you would expect but they do free exchanges, so if you haven't ordered before, you can choose all 3 sizes (slim/extra slim/super slim) and exchange the one's that don't fit best.

    • +2

My wardrobe is full of CT shirts and they're great, but note, as a normal sized male (178 cm, ~80kg), the super slim is not slim enough. If you have wide shoulders and a narrow waist, I imagine you'd have trouble getting a good fit.

In contrast say to a TM shirt I have which is almost too slim fit around waist.

      • +1

CT are baggier than what I prefer too
Interesting your feedback on TM when the size charts suggest not much difference

        • +1

Me too.. I have wide shoulders and slim waist and these CT shirts assume everyone is pear shaped. What's a good TM fit for athletic frame.

      • +2

If you have wide shoulders and a narrow waist, I imagine you'd have trouble getting a good fit.

Yep, this is why I despise buying shirts. I had to try on around 30 different shirts from a good 15-20 different brands before finding some that were even vaguely close to the fit I want. 90% of them are way too boxy and baggy through the midsection, and anything that fits me properly in that regard looks like the buttons are about to rip off across the chest unless I hunch over like an idiot.

        • +2

Looks like you need to custom fit em. Try VAnda tailors in Vietnam if you ever visit.

          • @Naigrabzo: Yeah you're probably right, I just haven't been able to justify the price here with local tailors.. Have been meaning to check out a few more SE Asian countries, so maybe this is the excuse I need!

  • +1

Great quality shirts, however the material is quiet thick for Australian weather especially for summer time.
I have bought from both TM Lewin and CT and TM Lewin is slightly lighter material but both still feel a little too warm when I wear them during summer.

    • Do you find any size differences between CT and TML? Got some from the new year sales, keen to try CT but hopefully without the usual size/fit issues that mean wasting time with exchanges and stuff, even if it is free.

    • +1

I only buy the poplin weave - I find the weight of these OK.

    • Is CT's smallest size smaller than TM Lewin's smallest? I'm after a slim fit and struggling to find XS

      • I found TM smallest is smaller than the smallest CT fit.

        • Ok thanks. If anyone finds any smaller please let me know. It'll save a trip to Asia.

          • +1

@PeeDee: Do you even lift, bro'

      • I'm 172cm, 67kg, have 31" waist, 37.5" chest. I wear Super Slim/15" collar/33" sleeve in TM.

    • +1, so much so that I still wear slightly ragged shirts :P
Solves itself after 20+ washes tho

    • Interesting you say this because my CT shirts are pretty much see through and I wish they were thicker.

  • +1

After recently buying from Van Heusen, and having bought from CT before, these shirts trump VH.

They are longer and stay tucked in better. I also enjoy the thicker material and they are much easier to iron. Plus the colour and patterns too.

    I'm off to order.

    • +4

Ha, once you've worn CT/TML you'll turn your nose up at the inferiority of Van Heusen.

      • +1

        I'm the complete opposite.
I find my TML a b*tch to iron. too thick, and not comfortable.
By VH are much lighter and a better fit.

      • I haven't tried TML yet, from memory I don't think I liked any of the colour options

      • +1

I spent a while trying on some TM shirts but while the material feels higher quality they were less comfortable to wear for me. They also feel heavier which is horrible in the Australian summer. VH is still my go to work shirt.

Don't forget to combine with Shopback 11% cashback!

    • +2

I've had the cashback requests rejected in the past when using coupons, so mileage may vary.

    • Came here to say this. My cash back was approved a few hours after purchase using the shop back app. Don’t know if it’ll get changed?

      • Tracking does not mean it will get paid.

    • Haven’t used shopback before but their website shows 5.6% for CT Shirts. How do I get 11%?

  • +1

Mate at work wears these and they stand out as do my Louis Philippe premium Indian shirts.

Now given I am not going anytime soon I'll try Tc

    • where to buy louis philippe?

  • Doesn't seem to apply for Polo's

    • Do the polos go on sale often?

  • +1

Can be stacked with additional shirts - it's just a minimum of 3. Delivery is fairly steep at 15.95 so it may be worth getting a few extra.

  • +1

Maximum of six shirts. Order placed, but at the end, shirts were disappearing out of my cart. I think it's bee OzBargained

  • Can anyone say which one should we choose? it seems it's not working with all type.

  • +1

Im fat now, whats the return policy if size doesnt fit?

edit : 6 months return nice

  • nice thanks, ordered 3. havent tried this brand so looking forward to giving these a go

  • +3

Offer Expiry Date is 24 April 2020

  • Is it tricky to work out the right size?

    • I get them regularly and seem to have cracked the formula. I'm a relatively solid unit (190cm/110kg) and what works for me is one size over my "normal" size (neck and sleeves), in slim.

  • This deal has been around for the last year. Bought 3, been waiting nearly a year for the $99 + free shipping to return.

    • +1

how did you get the free shipping?

      • +1

Sorry didn't get free shipping, I meant I couldn't wait any longer for that deal to return

        • that got me for a sec

  • +2

Thanks OP. It's legitimately rediculous what dressing well can do for your career in an office environment. It's tantamount to cheating.

    • agreed, very few people in my office / department dress that well. The few that do, including me, wear CT shirts!

    • We have moved to smart casuals.and rightly so..

    • It's hilariously not even that hard to do either. Nice pair of business Chinos, and a well fitted shirt. Coupled with a nice boot or shoe. You're laughing.

      • One pair of business chinos for the week huh?

        • How exactly did you come to that conclusion? All that statement is referring to is what to wear, not how many of each to own.

  • Thanks bought 2

  • I prefer a tight fitting business shirt but not too tight. Is there a guide for choosing between the types of slim fits?

    • Even the slim fit assumes you have a fair sized gut.. this brand not for you..

      • Does that extend to the super slim fit….?

        • I think super slim is what you want.

extra slim fits me erll and I am not skinny. So you have to go slimmer than that.

        • +1

Try both - the return process is very good.

          • +1

@ShortyX: I'm considering it. Do you pay return shipping or is it covered?

            • @kainomac: Return shipping is covered. I've returned stuff twice and totally agree with ShortyX: the process is very good.

  • +6

Shame that they add $15 delivery charges on these as always they use to have free delivery with this offer

  • Thanks, ordered 3, I went through cashrewards but I don't expect to get paid.

  • Thanks OP, had just bought 3 shirts from them at $40 each + shipping. At this price I'll buy 3 more!

  • Is it on all shirts or any particular range?
Added 3 but I am unable to apply code

    • same here, code didnot apply.
      any ideas?

  • Max 6 shirts for $33 each, can make multiple orders with code.

  • +3

Sorted for shirts, now is there an ozbargain equivalent for pants? I feel my bottom half will be underdressed!

    • Trent Nathan full wool when on special @ Myer…

      • How much are they when on special?

        • +1

Got two for $150 last time; best pants so far. Use to get full wool pants from PJs prior.

      • Can you link an example. I'm seeing wool blend and wool linen but not full wool. Thanks!

  • I tried stacking with shipping code shippingau but it doesn't work…booooo

  • Thanks OP, just got six, should be a step up from my on special Connor shirts! Hopefully I got the right sizes!

    • +1

Can confirm these are much better than any Connor shirts I've seen.

      • +2

If you have to rate on a scale of 1 to 10 then connor are 1 and these are 10 on quality….I personally find CT Shirts of highest quality and cant use anyother shirts after wearing them and building up my wardrobe with them…

        • Awesome! Looking forward to sprucing up a notch or 9!

  • I am fat around my belly/stomach area. Would I need to go for slim fit or extra slim?

    • How phat? I'm not fat and I prefer slim, for comfort. Slim is probably more like "normal" fit…

    • order both..free returns..

  • Their polos are good too. I have one so far. Nice material and good fit.

I find the shirt standard sleeve length to be on the short side, so measure your arm first too.

  • -2

Paid shipping kills the deal. Not very OzBargain type.

    • -1

      no pressure to buy..

    • Really? What will it cost you to drive to the shops and back in both fuel and time?

  • Heads up - I was a huge fan of CT classic fit casual shirts, but they appear to have changed their fitting in the last 6 months. The shirts are much shorter in length, to the point of being uncomfortable. Called customer service and they confirmed to have re-designed fitting across most shirt types, though agreeing to accept returns without the re-stocking fee. Just FYI

  • When does this expire? I purchased 3 shirts in different sizes to figure out my sizing. Planning on returning what doesn't fit and getting new ones.

    • aPRIL

    • They will honour the deal of your initial purchase for return/replacement, even if it's expired.

  • I am not convinced that this is better than the DFO prices for OXFORD shirts which can be had for 3 for $129.

    • $115 < $129? Unless you mean quality for money then i dunno

      • I meant quality but happy to stand corrected.

        • Gotcha, yeah not sure can't comment

    • the quality of CT shirts is significantly better than Oxford by a pretty significant margin. You also have much more freedom to choose between cuts of shirt, cuff/collar type, weave/weight and sleeve length.

Oxford USED to be a premium brand, maybe a decade ago (roughly), but shifted its production and pricing model to "always on sale, all the time" and the quality dipped dramatically.

I own both oxford and CT shirts (as well as Van Heusen, TM Lewin, MJ Bale etc), but I am always drawn to the value proposition offered by CT when they do these deals. I just bought 5. Including shipping, that works out to $36 a shirt.

      • +1

Thanks man. You habe piqued my interest. I got somw shirts custom tailored in Vietnam. They have outlasted every single Oxford shirt and any other brand in Aus so far. I wash n wear daily.

Time to figure out my cut n size then do a big order.

        Many thanks your way.

        • the returns is pretty easy, you could always order a few different cuts and sizes and then exchange the ones that don't work for you.

I have an Oxford shirt that I bought at the same time as the CT's, and the collar started falling apart/ripping at the fold line after about 12 months. The CTs I bought in August 2017 are still going strong. I wear a different shirt every day, and wash them all once a week. The only issues are a little bit of fading on the collars from UV exposure from line drying, but I reckon i can get another 6 months to a year out of them.
