    The lack of concrete examples of discounts/venues on their website is worrying … i'm guessing it'll be the usual assortment of places that offer discounts on Entertainment book/groupon/first table/eatclub/etc.

    In my opinion, NO.
    Very less participating restaurants. Similar discounts are available through free LIVEN platform and TheFork.
    Only benefit of Zomato is some restaurants have 1+1 food or 1+1 drinks

  Used Zomato gold in Dubai and it was superb. 50% off restaurants everywhere.

  I used Zomato gold twice , a month apart in the same restaurant. First time went ok, even though I could see the staff was obviously hesitant. The second time they flat out refused to honour the gold deal (buy 2 dish pay only 1), even though their restaurant is still listed with zomato gold. Complaining afterwards with Zomato is worst: they don’t respond!
