Great! Now halve the price again.

  • I bought the black one. It's a really nice keyboard. Quite different to the previous mechanical keyboard I was using so I need to get used to typing on it. Looks really nice though, especially in the dark.

Don't forget cashrewards. Having said that, I don't think they gave me the correct amount back. Alienware is 8.4% and accessories are 4.9%. They only gave me $7 back which isn't even the right amount for accessories, so I'm going to try to get the full 8.4% back. Still, better than nothing I guess.

    • I've bought the black keyboard last week when it was on 1/2 price sale. My daughter prefer it over her Logitech G910 RGB Gaming Keyboard, and it is more quiet too. Now the Lunar Light Keyboard and Mouse are on 1/2 price sale. I'm going to buy this keyboard and the wire/wireless mouse, because I have 2 Area 51 desktops, and they match perfectly.

      • I'm not sure if I will get an RGB mouse. It would be nice, but the main reason I wanted an RGB keyboard was so I could see the keys in my dark room. I don't really need to see my mouse. If I do go for a mouse I would probably do a bit more research and maybe get a different high end gaming one.

        • The mouse is a gaming mouse with 16,000 dpi, and it can be used as either a wire or wireless mouse. I know Alienware is overprice. But it is NOT overprice, when it is on 1/2 price sale.

          • @langthang: I already have the black keyboard. Maybe, if the black mouse goes on sale I will look into that one.

              • @RCB: Cheers for that. I'm still not sure what to get. I bought the MX Master 2S not too long ago and while it's not a gaming mouse, I'm no pro and most of the time I play solo games that don't exactly need precision. I would like a really high end gaming mouse one day as I do like FPS and stuff. Maybe if I see a killer deal I'll jump in then. I can wait till Black Friday I guess. My mouse would be a year old or so by then.

          • @langthang:

            16,000 dpi

For people that are impressed by large numbers, without knowing what they mean.

    • Price ex GST $156.82
      4.9% of that is $7.65

So if they classed it as accessories instead of Alienware product, the $ figure is about right?
Does take away the shine out of the cashback tho :( Was hoping for 8% too

      Price paid - cashback $ 164.85

      • Yeah, I'll take another look at it and see if it's worth the time to email. Better than nothing either way though.

  • Has anyone ordered this and still waiting?

I placed my order on Friday last week, first I waited until Monday to receive "Order Received" email, now the status has been "In production" since then, and it was estimated to deliver on 21/2 which is tomorrow, which doesn't look like it's happening.

Their customer service is also pretty useless, can't give me a direct answer.

First Dell order ever and probably the last…

  • Sometimes, Dell waits for stock coming from Malaysia. Normally, you would received your order within a few days (or same day in NSW). I am still waiting for my order of the AW510K keyboard, and AW610M mouse placed on 16/02. I've received an email from Dell, saying that the items would arrive on 02/03 due to shipment delay.
