  • It's on the Uncle Tetsu Australia page, so can't see why it wouldn't be nation-wide including Sydney

That's a good point. Thanks for that!

  • Anyone know how much a cheesecake is normally?

      The original cheesecake is $17.99

so not much a bargain then.

Considering the cheesecake are their only signature.

Another way to look at it

          pay normal price for cheesecake
          get 2 free puddings

  • is there cheesecake really that good can make you crafting for more? or, just tried one and that's the end of the story ?

i reckon its a great cake but i think its overpriced for what it is (maybe $15 instead of the $18 RRP?). That said, a lot of cake you buy are super expensive now so I am kinda detached from reality as well.

Personally I'd rate their cheese tarts over their cake

      • Cheese tarts are amazing from here.

    • It's REALLY light. It's like eating… nothing at all. Yes I understand the nature of Japanese cheesecakes (and I enjoy them!) but I've never had one this light before. Unless you understand this, I would steer clear.

    • I think it is worth trying for yourself. We probably buy a couple a year.

    • Cheesecake was wet IMO (we're jap) it's similar in theory to one I made in college.

That cheese tart is amazing though!! Cookie crust. I much prefer this over the original Hokkaido one.

  • How is the vanilla pudding?

They're okay but not wow. Not as good as their cheesecake. Although at this price the puddings are free, so can't complain.

    • I really like it.

  • do they usually have sales? if not then may as well buy now and get the free puddings

Yuk, cheesecake with no base? Nasty.

  • It's the pudding any good

    • Already asked that question

      • Yep sorry I missed that at first

Walked past the Sydney store yesterday..the puddings can be swapped for their Madeline cakes (I'd rate the cheese tarts higher though!)

    • Madeline cakes better than puddings?

      • I haven't tried the puddings…have always liked the madelines though, I'd rate the cakes after the tarts :)

  • Sydney ran out of pudding, was offered the cheese tarts. Wow, yum! I wasnt impressed with the cake, maybe I tasted them in the wrong order.

    • +1

tarts are way better than the cake imo
