Why does it not have a lip, to catch any oils etc?!?!
Because this is a baking sheet and not a baking tray.
Why not just use a baking tray then.
@AustriaBargain: With this baking sheet, you can slide off the cookies etc that you bake, which you can’t do with a tray with a lip around it.
PFOA and PTFE or 'forever chemical' has 4000+ variants, which one is this one …
So it's a baking tray.
the cheapest darn baking tray EVERRRRRRR!
It would be if you can get us free shipping!
Cheaper than spotlight.
Are they the same though?
MightyApe: made from heavy duty carbon steel
Spotlight: high grade aluminium made baking sheet
If this baking sheet is indeed made from carbon steel, I wonder if I can place it on top of an induction cooker and do poor-man's teppanyaki?
@alvian: Not alot of thermal mass I'm guessing, would but be very concentrated heat.
@ash2000: Emphasis on poor-man's, I am no Masterchef. I will eat it as long as it hasn't become carbon.
@alvian: You could layer them…. You'd be in with a fighting chance then.
Thanks, bought 5 to make it a deal :)
Well I bought 6, so I'm a better oz bargainer than you! :-)
I bought 10. One for everyone in the audience!
I bow down before your excellence!
easy…. its $2ea if you buy 6… ;-)
What is this sorcery?
Let's hope it's not a pricing error, it's awfully cheap, and 'waiting for stock from supplier' doesn't add to my confidence…
I bought 10
i bought 20
Well, I bought 2 and a chopping board…. don't really need a chopping board. I hope they don't cancel these orders
Does this double as a mouse pad?
MasterClass: Non-Stick Baking Sheet (35x28cm)
Stock not yet allocated
I reckon its a pricing error also.. but gotta be in it to win it.. ordered 10… thats xmas sorted with the wifes ginormous country family with some spare from secret santa
it does say 96% off
The discount percentage is almost certainly auto generated from the product's price,so a missing 0 will shift it from 37% to 96%!
That said, let's hope they honour it.
Don't bake with anything less.
Aluminium makes cookies.
… same as a pizza stone but metal? Can see how they would be useful if that's what this is.
Not sure why, but i bought 3 of them
Really hope this deal goes ahead as I have one in another brand and it's great for baking pizza on in the pizza oven and sliding it off onto the cutting board.
Slides off way better than our pizza stones. We sprinkle semolina on the tray before the pizza sits on it.
Our round pizza trays (with a lip around the edge) are good, but I prefer the tray with no lip as they slide off so easily.
4 for $9.90 shipped is awesome.
Thanks for the heads up, @Chookpoo.
I personally prefer to sprinkle Salmonella on the tray before the pizza gets put down.
remind me not to eat pizza at your place :/
Perhaps try semolina next time, for both an improvement in your pizza cooking and a reduction in your guest food poisoning ;)
Showing up as $27. Am I missing something
Gone.. I think
The party is over.
Damn it, $27 a tray now, snooze ya lose
Cancelling my order of 1 after making an order for 6, so 1 might come back in stock…
Yeah got the cancellation email, damn =(
