So, is aliexpress finally shipping items to Australia, or is everything still delayed and being held before shipping? I order a few things and everything is still waiting to be shipped for a couple of weeks.
Depends on the supplier. I have a few waiting to dispatch and few have shipped within a day or two of ordering. My HIKVision CCTVs seem to be taking ages…
AliExpress opened back up weeks ago but it's going to depend on the individual seller. If a company opens up and someone tests positive… the whole company is shut down. If a worker has a neighbour test positive… the whole housing block is shut down.
So it's a bit of a lottery at the moment.
There are two levels of delay from what I've read. The local processing and lodgement of the parcel, and then trying to get it on a flight to Australia. As all passenger flights have been suspended (these also carried mail), this only leaves dedicated freight carriers.
NZ have suspended all postal services to and from China.
Let's hope that doesn't happen here!

AliExpress have different types of coupons that stack. Normally an AliExpress Select and Seller coupon will stack, but not a Select and Select. I think in this case it's going to be one or the other.

You can usually check by going to checkout before payment and it'll apply everything automatically.

That hasn't been my experience. I've had refunds for no delivery or wrong item. Do have to wait, though.
Ordered three things from two sellers on 23rd and 24th January and nothing has been shipped yet.
AliExpress have refunded me over the past 2 years around 10 times for loss or slow delivery. Each time I have been fully refunded in 2-5 days without exception, try that on Fleabay!.
Same for me. I had a seller not ship my item for 2 months and when AliExpress kicked in the seller wanted me to wait 2 more weeks, but AliExpress refunded me. I can see why because 2 weeks later the products arrived.
AliExpress seems to take the side of the buyer in most instances, also if you are a regular purchaser that seems to cement rapid
resolution to a refund request. I also had a $25 electronic item shipped in error via Mongolia, took around 2 extra weeks to divert but the waywood item arrived after they had refunded the cost. I think they are quite tough on slow vendors in most instances.
