25% off Storewide @ Freedom (Free Membership Required)

Received an email today for a 25% off deal on everything on the freedom website. Not sure if this is in store though. Some things look amazing but there are some things that are a bit expensive.

Regular "discount" … just like how we all get "discount" on mattress.

Nice OP. The 25% applies once you add to cart

    • I've been having problems checking out, the items just disappear and i have an empty cart. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

      • Happened to me when I updated my delivery address. But when I went back to my cart it appeared again. I purchased two rugs and placemats though.

The quality of freedom products is absolute trash compared to what it was a decade ago.

    • Perhaps your eye on quality improve since then, it's always been shitty quality, just as IKEA.

      • Could be, but the glass dining (computer) desk I bought back in 2008 still looks a shitload better than any of the current glass offerings and is a hell of a lot more sturdy.

Not gonna neg the deal, but the quality of Freedom furniture is now barely above Fantastic furniture. It's really dropped off over the last decade or so. You can get far better quality from a local furniture store and potentially pay less than what Freedom has on offer.

Freedom, Fantastic Furniture, Snooze, OMF and Plush Sofas are all part of the same group, Greenlit Brands, which is an 'integrated' retailer and manufacturer. Like Gerry's, they have moved to a made to order model (whether the customer knows that or not) via overseas shared factories hence extensive lead times and similarities in "quality" (or lack of).

    • Thanks this is really useful to know.

I looked at new Couches at HarveyNorman recently and everything is a 12 week minimum delivery.

Seems like a way to significantly reduce costs, by holding no stock in Australia other than display stock in Stores.

    • Yeah, I ordered an entertainment unit, sure enough the label says Made in Vietnam.
