$188 for a TKL keyboard? Seems pretty expensive to me. What's so special about it to be $200+ for base retail price?

TKL are weirdly often more expensive than full size keyboards. I'm guessing it's just based off demand, as I'd say TKL tend to be less popular.

The Steel Series Apex is a great keyboard with some uncommon features in TKL (scroll wheel, little screen). You can get it in regular switches or their omni point. Overall, I'd say it's pricey, but it's quite a niche item. It got released shortly after I had already bought a different TKL, so I couldn't justify it for myself. But it would be my choice if I was buying a TKL again.

    • It has Steelseries written in large letters?

Wooting One is probably the best premium TKL for ~$220 (Amazon): programmable, replaceable analogue switches, on board profiles (no software required for profiles), very low lag and looks awesome.

  • Only for RED switches. Brown is ~$208 :(

Edit: it just changed to ~$198 for browns
