1 available on their eBay store, use code PEAR5 for $5 off, need to purchase via eBay app for code to work

  • It comes with USB-C type charging port as per User Guide

  • Can these be unlocked from the Optus network?

  • How does this compare to the samsung a20?

The only thing going for this is the NFC. I can't think of any other locally available phone with NFC at this price point.

If you can extend your budget to $179 (lowest price) then the A20 is the winner.

Currently, with the A20 at ~$240 (locked) and ~$270 (unlocked) you might be able to find other phones with similar specs or better.

  • Given the alternative (A20) are no longer available for its bargain price, how good/bad is the performance of this thing for minimal usage?

    I just need:
    1. NFC for google pay.
    2. Google maps.
    3. Brave browser.
    4. Ability to make occasional phone calls.

    • It has 2GB RAM. For your use, I think it will be adequate.

Edit: Comment made based on specs alone. I don't own this device.

  • This or the Motorola Motorola Moto E6 Plus ?

I know the moto is a little more expensive but has similar spec and runs stock android not mifavor

    • Ignoring the absence of NFC on the Moto, the E6 Plus is the better choice.

At about ~$165, it is unlocked, has twice amount of internal memory, finger-print sensor, etc

If you're a light user and are willing to go with Optus, you may lean to this phone due to Optus' "Two Free Recharges offer":
