The bundles stink. The $298 deal at Big W (I think?) is far better. Put the $50 towards an actual decent game like Uncharted 2.
50 bucks will get you a controller and nothing else online, with longer shipping. This is 50 bucks for a controller + extra games, and less shipping time. Unless you're one of those controller-less gamers, I fail to see how this bundle 'stinks'.
It's actually a controller dock (for charging I'd say), not an extra controller (i.e. you still only get one controller in these bundles).
I would prefer to purchase an extra controller with that $50 than to put it towards one of these bundles.
i agreed that the bundles are not desirable for everyone. If you could manager to get rid of the 3 games for >$51, it'll be the cheapest 160GB console on the market. Also potential to get the AMEX $50 rebate if this deal is matched by other retailers
$299 for PS3console in Target is a better price
I think the Guitar Hero bundle is a good deal. This is better then the offers from JB
any one can disclose what SKU model no. and date code you got on the back side of your PS3 if you bought it in the recent 298/299 price range?
Many people might considering to offload the unwanted bundles on eBay. Any rough estimation on how much do these games/dock/guitar worth on eBay? Which deal gives a better yield of the console itself?
