Roads… where we're going we don't need roads.

      • +3

You need roads to get to kmart

  • Saw these in store, they were poor quality and used a lot of artistic license on the design. But for $15 they're probably priced about right.

  • This was $15 since two years ago

    • Was $20 recently at my local, first time I'd seen them in store.

  • Great Scott! I’m too old for it, Einstein!

  • +3

recommended ages 14-50. lol. Very specific.

    • +1

loll..I picked up the description straight from amazon site!

  • +2

I've been waiting 10 years for this deal…

Nothing says “savvy investment” like a mass produced “collectible” from your local K-mart.

  • +3

Ordered, bargain compared to my real delorean time machine i built :)

    • +2

      Really?

Yep built from a stock delorean i got from usa haha

        • Does it have power steering?

          • +1

@Wally: No they did not come with power steering, and it's not needed when all the weight is at the back of the car

        • +1

Looks awesome Kurt, do you attend shows etc?

          • @BartholemewH: I do not attend shows but i do bookings to show off the car and do big events as they happen, since it cost well over 100k to buy and build it's not unreasonable to get a small percentage back this way :)

            • +1

@Seiya Ryuuguuin: I understand. I have a big $ car tucked away, it just still requires the big $ spent on it… You could think of it as 'the last of the V8's'.

But I digress. I live in the sticks so will probably never see your car, but as a BTTF and car fan it looks absolutely mint. Well done.

      • Check out my Twitter, ReadyPlayerKurt for pictures, it was also signed by Stan lee 😎

  • It only says "suitable for 8+" that I could see

    • I picked the description straight from amazon.

  • Im going to say most scifi fans dont really want this, let alone it be a "must"

    • A real sci-fi fan would never say such a thing. Begone demon!

Hey Marty I just went 30 years into the future and these were worth $15 each but at least Biff (Donald) is not president anymore.

Tony Hawk was able to do a 900 on his hoverboard at 83 though.

  • +4

    Buy it.
    What are ya….chicken?

    • +4

      Nobody calls me chicken!

  • +1

How am I going to fit in this thing?

  • I got these three for Christmas a few years ago but my brother must be spewing because he claimed he paid $100 for it all

  • +2

Yup. these were quite rare a few years back. Kmart scored them a couple years ago. but they are great for any BTTF fan (me)

  • +1

These are a bargain. I nearly bought one from here. They were $70.

  • The universe was well and truly on your side tonight, my good man.

  • Lol at how diecast is advertised. How many of you are buying this for yourself vs for your kid?

"If your child loved the film, they will absolutely love this Back to the Future car!"

Or is it referring to the inner child

    • +1

Lol my kid doesn’t even know what these cars mean. In a couple years when he gets older I’ll introduce him to the universe of BTTF! For now they are for my inner kid in me

If My Calculations Are Correct, When This Baby Hits 14 Bucks Per Car, You're Gonna See Some Serious S***

  • A bargain no doubt. Bought 1 previously for A$33++ from Amazon US.

  • This is a bargain as shops like Games World and the memorabilia shop Taylor Made are trying to sell them for $80-$150 (signiture editions in some cases).

  • Are the 3 any different, or is it just the packaging?

    • +1

One from III should have arrows stuck to it.

      • The III is clearly different. Not sure about I vs II.

  • Zing had these for $30

  • +2

You can always try and make your own once Jaycar get stock back in.

    https://www.jaycar.com.au/flux-capacitor/p/OUTATIME

There's even a detailed data sheet. Not so sure about the cost though.

    • If I could go back in time to when it was in stock, I would buy it and then travel back in time to when it was in stock.

    • $200,000 ooft better be a working model

  • -1

Are these worth keeping in the original packaging as they may be worth something one day? I got all 3 unopened and I'm just curious about it.

    • There is no shortage of toy Back to the Future cars, so I can't imagine they will be.

  • +1

What is this, a car for ANTS? It needs to be, at least 3 times bigger!

    • Even if it's the wrong movie, it's… Stiller good line.

      • It's definitely Ben done before.

  • +1

The only thing these will collect is dust.

  • Still a few in stock at Twin Pines Mall Kmart.
