As per many news articles (eg https://www.odt.co.nz/news/national/air-nz-offer-9-domestic-…), AirNZ has $9 one way flights going on sale:

Air New Zealand's Grabaseat is releasing 1000 domestic flights at just $9 one-way tomorrow morning.

Air New Zealand Chief Revenue Officer Cam Wallace says the unmissable fares are in response to softening domestic demand growth as a result of coronavirus.

"On Monday we'll be offering these absolutely outstanding one-way fares to all of our 20 domestic destinations," he said.

  "softening demand" is an understatement. An industry wide disruption is leading airlines to frantically cancel or drop their prices so they're not flying borderline empty planes.

    Best flight I ever took was on a Thai 747 from Bangkok to Stockholm. Literally about 20 people including crew on the entire flight. They must've lost a tonne of money!

  What ever you do. Don't subscribe to their emails. There seems to be nothing I can do to stop the constant spam coming through from them. I've requested to cancel, clicked unsubscribe on many occasions. Nothing seems to work.

    AirNZ? Log into your profile and change settings there. Or failing that, in hour profile, change your email address to a fake one :) you can still log in with your points number.
