Something that is regularly forgotten by a lot of people, especially when parents\carers of kids with disabilities typically struggle more with money, compared to parents without children with disabilities

A Carer accompanying a person with a disability who is a holder of a Child Disability Allowance Health Care Card, Disability Pension Card or a Companion Card get FREE access to zoo (save $38).

Also kids aged 4-15 years get FREE entry to all Victoria Zoos on weekends and holidays.

      • Children being a loose term for offspring

        My point is that I'd be surprised if carers of disabled people didn't know about this (i.e. not a deal)

    This also works at Vic Museum and Scienceworks, but it can depend on whether or not the ticket sales person is aware.

    Works pretty much anywhere, theme parks, public transport, tourist attractions, etc.

    It can even be combined with free entry on most occasions, e.g. if you were taking a disabled child to this zoo on the weekend quite likely you would both go for free.
