1 million seats on sale!

Get in quick.

If you're in Club Jetstar you can get in today, otherwise it starts tomorrow!

Checked baggage is not included but may be added for a fee. Carry-on baggage limits, including size restrictions, will be strictly applied. Passengers with more than the applicable carry-on baggage allowance will need to check in baggage, and charges will apply.

If you're not fussed on airline, make sure to check Tiger as well (there are a couple of active deals on ozb) as you can either use them or use them to get Jetstar to price match ;)

  • Need to be in Club Jetstar to get in before general public tomorrow.

    • yeah, updated description, thanks

*Club Jetstar has an ongoing annual membership fee of AUD $55. See the Club Jetstar terms and conditions for more details. The annual membership fee is non-refundable. Price based on payment by POLi, Jetstar voucher, Jetstar Gift Card or Jetstar credit cards.

So $55 + the dodgy markup on all acceptable methods of payment in the known universe.

  • 1 million seats on sale

Can someone do the math? Over what period of time does it take Jetstar to fly 1 million seats?
    Here’s their stats page

    • well the problem with the maths is that it's probably not every seat on every plane on every flight that's on sale. It might be say, 5 or 50 seats per plane…

But "The Jetstar Group carried more than 37 million passengers in financial year 2017". That's about 101,000 a day, so if it were every seat, about 10 days.

        You did the math. Thanks!

  • Wow, well, great for singles, don't go anywhere you'd risk a transfer.

  • If I join the Jetstar Club, can I buy tickets for my wife and I or is it for tickets only in my name and she would need a club membership as well?

    • Discounts for you and up to 4 others when you book together

      • Thanks.

    • The Club member needs to be one of the travelling members in any bookings. So would be fine to book for you both

      • Thanks mate.

  • Hmm nothing for New Zealand in this sale.

They are probably having no trouble selling full priced fares to NZ as it's considered "safe". Many of the people who are cancelling their trips to Asia are probably considering NZ as an alternative. My take on the situation anyway!

Meh, Jetstar has these sale prices almost every other week in their "Friday Fare" sales. If I'm going to risk catching nCov-19 I want to see airfares lower than this.

  • I'll be buggered if I can find sale fares BNE-ADL 24/4 - 26/4 :(

If you're prepared to fly tiger, they seem to do sales ~6 weeks out. Hang in there!

      • I've only flown them once but had no issues. Surely they've improved somewhat (especially with Virgin ownership now).
