Hi all,

Doesn't look like yesterday's 3500X/2080S deal tickled the community's fancybone, so we've sharpened it up by bundling 3200MHz RAM and a 1TB storage HD drive, ($98 value in configurator) at the same price (yesterday's purchasers will be upgraded).

I'm also now offering the 3700X with the same config for $1888. These are the hottest prices for any high spec systems we've ever done but stock is limited for the components listed below.

Ryzen 7 3700X / RTX 2080 Super High Spec Gaming PC

Ryzen 7 3700X
RTX 2080 Super (Galax Dual Fan; MSI just bumped their cost price up so the Ventus upgrade is now more expensive)
B450 motherboard (MSI/Gigabyte most likely)
16GB 3200MHz RAM
240GB NVME SSD
1TB HDD
Gigabyte G750H 750W 80+ Gold Power Supply
Leaper Pro RGB case Leaper Mid case (MSI MAG Forge 100R upgrade reduced to $79)

Price: $1888 after 3700X-2080S-MAR

Ryzen 5 3500X / RTX 2080 Super High Spec Gaming PC

Ryzen 5 3500X
RTX 2080 Super (Galax Dual Fan; MSI just bumped their cost price up so the Ventus upgrade is now more expensive)
B450 motherboard (MSI/Gigabyte most likely)
16GB 3200MHz RAM
240GB NVME SSD
1TB HDD
Gigabyte G750H 750W 80+ Gold Power Supply
Leaper Pro RGB case Leaper Mid case (MSI MAG Forge 100R upgrade reduced to $79)

Price: $1588 after 3500X-2080S-MAR

      Death it is Sir!

      So you have chosen death.

    • +4

      you have chosen…. poorly

    How much is delivery?

    • +1

Depends on location and what case you pick. With the MSI Mag to Brisbane it's $61.
      $46.52 with the Leaper

      • -3

        $61 for shipping? I’ll pass.

          Thanks for your contribution.

@Hinee: New techfast deal, same pointless contribution from this serial troll

Luke second code should be 3500X-2080S-MAR

This is a super juicy deal though with the RAM/MOBO/HDD upgrades. Only really needs the case upgraded and you're laughing. Great work team.

One thing to note though as you guys are always super transparent is you should mention that shipping cost increases with case changes too, so realistically the $79 upgrade is really $94 extra.

  • How long is shipping typically? Unable to find anything on the website

    • Check this page which is on a tab at the bottom of each PC.

  • Sent you a pm Luke, thanks!

  • I'm still waiting to win my PC off the website :D :D :D. But in all seriousness I will be placing a order withing the next 3 months so please stop tempting me early

    • +1

In 3 months the 3000 series GPUs will be coming out soon. I'd wait to see what they're like and if there's clearance sales on the 2000 series.

      • +1

Would the virus affect the release date?

  • Do you allow for the parts to be sent indivdually, without being built in to the leaper case?

  • Onya Luke, it's nice to see a deal with all the juicy upgrades included.

This with the case upgrade is so appealing!

    Must resist!

  • I should stop checking these deals. Can I change my order, again? Lol

    • +3

If it works out better for you, sure!

What is the brand of 240GB NVME SSD? Can I pay more to change it to Samsung?

    • +2

It would depend on the SSD type, it doesn't need to be a specific brand. For instance, the MX500s are comparable to the 860 Evos, but BX500s are garbage. The main thing is that it has a DRAM cache, is TLC with an SLC cache.

But definitely worth finding out which SSD it is before ordering imo.

      • It doesn't have a DRAM cache.

Lexar NM 610 in mine, about the same perf as a crucial P1
      https://www.lexar.com/portfolio_page/ssd-nm610/

      • No, the Lexar has TLC but no DRAM, crucial p1 is QLC but has DRAM. I would pass on both.

  • Common luke don't make me buy another PC even though I don't need it haha

  • Wondering if I should grab one of these or wait for RTX 3000 and Ryzen 4000 series later this year. I've got a craptop that's good enough for indies and a switch, so I suppose I can hold out til then.

  • After extensive research, just bit the bullet on the 3500X.
Seemed to be the best bang for buck deal going and absolutely destroys the pricing on equivalent systems from bricks and mortar stores here in WA.

  • Whats the expected lead time if I bought two of these builds on the 5th of March? Cheers

    • +1

Closer to the 14 business days being realistic.

  • Hey Luke, just wondering what the ETA for a 3500X system would be at the moment. Cheers

    • 10-14 business days is our estimated time at the moment. There are no current issues around 3500X systems or anything currently being offered.

  • Hey Luke,

Ive recently purchased a PC on the 18th - Order #TECHFAST63702631

I believe there is currently a 10-14 business day turnaround on most systems, i was just wondering if that would be the same for this order as well?

Just thought i'd ask as this deal has been up for a while so you may already have all the parts in stock!

    Cheers

    • Stock comes in all the time. It might end up being before 10-14 but it gives us some leeway for delay if required.

      • Thanks mate. I just noticed that you've recently posted a new deal including the Thermaltake case - any chance i can change mine? I opted for the Open air case, but only because there was no option besides the case that was roughly $100 more to upgrade to (The stock one was sold out at the time, and the Black/White leaper cases werent appearing as options. Is there any chance i can swap that over to the Thermaltake case offered on the new deal?

Posted this comment below but just realized i didnt reply back to your original comment, my apologies.
