  • That bezel tho.

    • Umm yep, love how it’s close up shot makes it seem like a feature

  • Wow,
Great price ! I would buy if I needed but I already own too many tvs

  • Hmmm I do need a tv for my N64

  • Isn't 250 nits really low for hdr?

    • +1

      Wont have HDR.

    • +1

Yes. Significantly. It varies a little wildly, but consensus seems to be minimum 600, but upwards of 1000 is deemed to take full advantage of HDR.

So, at 250 you definitely wouldn’t bother buying this particular set for HDR benefits, however there may be other features that make the set worth considering, I would say the main one being price.

Personally, I wouldn’t buy a pre-release, sight-unseen TV set from a lesser known manufacturer such as Soniq, whom don’t have a proven track record of processing, or software.

But, Soniq has been around for a long time. They offer a product that caters to consumers looking for a cheaper alternative. It’s a shame that they left JB HiFi, and that it would seem that, though I could be wrong, it’s not possible to see their products first hand anymore.

Thanks for your thorough response 👍
I agree, this is a fantastic price for a secondary tv.

It’s a shame that they left JB HiFi

        • +1

          Yep.

JB have gone further downhill over the decades.

  • OOS already!

  • In stock again!
If you got in on the pre-sale the shipment should be tomorrow (18/3).
Don't know if that means if you buy today it'll ship tomorrow as well.

  • Anyone that has bought got theirs yet?
