Orange Macpac Boulder 28L Daypack $95 @ Macpac

30

I was looking for a backpack to use as a commuting bag to work, cycling backpack and hiking. Found this bag on clearance in melbourne cbd (lt bourke st) and have a few in stock. Online store also show multiple stores having stock. Clearance due to change of season.

Orange might not suit you, but for commuting by bike and hiking, I want to be visible. Hip and chest strap also very handy to distribute the weight off the shoulders.

It also comes in black for $119.99

The Boulder 28 is a great everyday option for commuting to work or heading off for day walk. Constructed with tough nylon fabric, it's lightweight, strong and weather resistant. Ideal for cycling, the Boulder includes a reflective cycle light loop and an inner hydration sleeve with an exit port for your hose. It's got internal organisation pockets and a front stretch pocket, so there's plenty of room for all your daily kit. Comfortable to wear, the Boulder has a padded back panel covered with breathable mesh and a removable hip belt for everyday convenience.

  • Nah, get an Osprey.

    • I did look at Osprey Talon range but i didn't like it since it only has 1 compartment. The other models was bit outside my budget for a day backpack. Which one would you recommend - might consider it in the future as a comparison, or test it out and return this bag lol

      Thanks!

I bought Macpac bags about ~15 years ago.. the heavy canvas bags are still in use with patches. I don't think they are competitive these days in this end of the market.

Synchro 20 for example would suit your needs, I bought one a few months back. Use a new wiggle signup to get $20 off?

I use an Osprey nebula these days as my work bag.

          • @Supercool: Thanks @Supercool for your suggestions!

Saw someone with the same complaint about the Talon being one big sack with no compartments!

  • I resemble that remark…..

  • Dakine for me!
