  • The warnings made by myself and others about this range of cards continues. In short you do not want anything to do with these cards!

They must be really bad as you post this comment in every card network deal.

      Why?

It's not that bad really. Just a bit inconvenient. Specifically, the redemption system is a little complicated. You can't just walk up to a register at a listed store and redeem these, you need to go through a few steps to activate the card on a portal, download an app to do some more steps and then get a version of it you can save on your eWallet (eg Apple Wallet). Depending on your personal speed at multitasking, and if you are using a phone or PC, it can take from 2 to 5 minutes for each card you buy. Yes, a little pain in the ass, but worth it for the big saving if you are buying big ticket items. I used it when buying some big ticket items I had price matched at Baby Bunting, and only learned of this rigmarole at the POS counter. Staff were nice and parked the sale while I took 20 minutes working out what the heck to do and activate the multiple cards on my phone. One more thing, they don't scan like normal gift cards at the POS so you need to use the eftpos terminal to enter the card numbers and pin numbers, so that takes a bit of time too (30-60 seconds per card).

Hot tip is activate and get all the additional steps done before you are at the store and then you can just use them like normal gift cards.

sounds like a gift to someone you hate the most… of course not telling them how to redeem.

        • You can't use them online?

    • Should have seen this before buying. Hopefully it works out

@grasstown: System still allows but staff may not allow.

I think all reward programs strictly limit the purchase of Coles eGC so that you cannot buy much now.

            • @Neoika: Reward Gateway are not fulfilling orders until July.

            • @Neoika: Just purchased $400 worth from Suncorp.
