The speakers are more a bonus, you probably won't want to use them for anything.
You would probably use the $100 you save though.

At this price point, the gaming-focus Acer X34P is a better buy even for productivity purpose. The X34P 120hz will make all window animations buttery smooth and it also has built-in speakers, color reproduction is good as well.
Seriously, I could only justify this price if it had USB-C with at least 60w PD output.
Crap price when you consider that 34WL85C-B (has speakers) could have been bought for $730.
