        • Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset with you…but you just need to know how things work over there, it is significantly different in terms of competition, opportunities & social supports…i.e. the dole is virtually non-existent!

I'd recommend you just do a little research & talk to some Chinese nationals/expats because whilst it is sad, it is a very interesting topic! Cheers, have a nice weekend Snail! :)

    • So which Australian made phone should I buy?

      • You guys Aussie make nothing, tbh.

        • wrong we give big bad mining company ( rio tinto, BHP ect …) the "rights" to dig up ores/resource then shift it to offshore to make cars/tv/white-goods so we can buy it back >.< BHP make an extra 22billions profit this year and yet normal hardworker don't get a cents.
The only thing i think Julia do right ( which she didn't) is tax those companies.
Yeah, it's like you make 100k/year it's cheaper to go buy take away than cook your own foods isn't it ? It's cost million to set up a high-tech manufactory, so yeah Aussia don't make much high-tech goods.
How about you go set up one, i will go work for you :P

        • Its called competitive advantage.

But all the same, if you guys still sell raw materials… instead of manufacturing your own, someday you guys will regret. Very much.

        • Duplicate.

Wow…I'm yet to see a more comprehensive misinterpretation/misunderstanding of high-school level fundamental economics than this little tete-a-tete! :)

yup, thought about chiming in but thought no point - would prefer this whole block of posts over in the forum, absolutely pointless here on this deal taking up all this space sighs

  • My experience with Vodafone has been fine, for the 6 months I've been with then.
