Wow that's some big titles! I loved Stanley Parable, a very unique game. Never played Watch Dogs, keen to try.

Just another Ubi's checklist open-world game. You play as one of the top hackers in this country and your everyday life is smashing people on the face in the street.

      • Would like to note that if you like the hacking aspect in the first one, the second one, WD2, expands on it a lot and is more hacking-focused than open-world.

        • grand theft hackie

        • Watch Dogs 2 is so much better in every way

  • +9

Stanley Parable is such a great game!

  • No way! I thought we wouldn't get any more free games after 2019, let alone more big games.
    Epic is pulling some strings.

    • +18

This is likely to upset you but Epic has continued giving games away weekly since the start of 2020 and have said they will continue for the whole of 2020.

      • Yeah I know I've been grabbing them as they come since the start of this year, just wasn't expecting any big-ish titles.

        • +1

do you have to download them or just ad to library?

    Both top games

Reminder set. Thanks OP! I really enjoyed playing Watch Dogs and I’m sure other new players will too.

For the truly autgentic experience plug your computer in the Stanley Power Board when playing the Stanley Parable. 😉😂

I remember playing the free half-life 2 mod for the Stanley Parable while the new one was still in development. Definitely don’t miss at this price!

  • Wow, Watch Dogs. Epic Games truly are epic.

Thanks Lysander! I've been wanting Watch Dogs for a while. I don't know much about that game except that it's about a guy that hacks things with a mobile phone. I hope I don't need to keep running to a charging station! :P

Enjoy the game when it becomes available next week. It is a fun game, at least that is my impression from it.
But make sure to try the Stanley Parable too if you haven't played it already. Really fun and unique experience.

  • I was so happy until I saw the "In 7 days"

    • +5

This is a good exercise in restraint. ;-)
Nowadays too many people, especially kids, want everything instant which of course is not possible and ludicrous.
I am sure you will survive and won't run out of games to play until then. :-))

      • +2

These days survivability is an issue itself

  • wow

Watch Dogs I don't give a toss about - I've played enough Ubisoft games by this point that I've pretty much played them all.

But Stanley Parable I've been interested in for ages but never enough to actually buy it, so this is great!

  • iF Epic's gonna start something like Google Stadia with all those Free saved games It will be Awesome…

    • +2

Yeah but we’ll need to fix internet speeds in Australia before it works

Regretting not making an Epic account and cashing in all these for if I ever eventually get a computer tbh.

  • +1

Watch Dogs was the last game I ever pre-ordered, I got sucked into the hype and it wasn't bad but wasn't what they had you believe through marketing.

How ever for free, it's worthy of playing through the Story.

  • Odd that Stanley Parable is available for the Mac on Steam but not on Epic Store. Best to still claim it in case it’s a timed exclusive thing going on again.

  • Thanks ubisoft for free iconic hat

  • I've claimed Watch Dogs when it was free to claim on Uplay/Ubisoft. Time to claim it on Epic as well.

  • +2

Stanley Parable is one of those few games you pirate because it's small and singleplayer, but then buy because it's so good and you want to support the creators.

    • You almost copped a downvote from me, and then I read further. haha.
      Unless you did pirate it?

  • I'm only getting "coming soon" for both Watchdogs and Stanley Parable, all other games purchased fine.

    • +4

See the blue box stating "In 5 days"????

      • Well, NOW I do 👍.

  • +2

Stanley Parable is unique and hilarious, well worth your time

  • Finally some free games that might get my partner to stop playing nothing but Tomb Raider games!

  • already got watch_dogs as a freebie on ubisoft launcher but it seems troublesome to download there than in epic store. been meaning to play watch_dogs again after finishing xbox 360. its not a terrible game but also not terrific. 100% recommend people who plan to replay watch_dogs to abandon the stealth and go full on john wick style and use as much slow-mo bullet mode. seen videos online and it looks way more fun

  • What spec PC would I need to play these?

Note. These are the recommended (watch Dogs) and Minimum (The Stanley Parable) needed to play each game.
Best to just go to a web site like Can you run it or Game system requirements to get the minimum/recommended system specification required to play each game.
