I used those wire strippers every day for work for a good 9 months and they got the job done well. I was stripping mostly speaker, power and data cable, and these had no dramas with the thicker stuff.
Self adjusting? By looking at it, that's just marketing?
They are definitely self adjusting. I use similar ones regularly.
I'm confused by what that means in context though

It's ok for smaller gauge wire. It's not amazing for thicker stuff. If doing regular wire stripping then it's better to look else where. The price is good for the two but mostly because of the pliers, and an okish wire stripper is a bonus.
