I received this email from MyProtein this morning. I already placed an order on Aminoz just yesterday, but will buy a few more items from this deal as well as the Aminoz order was just one price-beat item.

Thanks OP! I was running low, and just bought 10kg of my favourite flavour, managing to get it just over the free shipping threshold by 68c!

May I ask which flavour you chose/recommend?

Hi. I grabbed chocolate smooth. Before ordering a bunch (in the past) I checked the results of a survey on Reddit. I also like their vanilla and strawberry cream.

I also like chocolate mint, but I can create that myself when I'm in the mood for it, just by adding some peppermint essence to my chocolate.

        • Thanks for the link that is cool to see. Although only chocolate smoothe seemed to score about 3.5 (and only just at that) maybe flavourwise these guys arent the way to go.

          • @exc3113nce: The chocolate varieties have less protein and more flavouring by percentage mass than say the strawberry flavour.

        • It seems that some folks there were thrashing chocolate smooth though. Have you used it before?

          • +1

@AussieDaddy: I've had about 15kg of chocolate smooth. It's as good as anything other brand chocolate that I've used (I have never had ON though).

Of course, I'm just a guy on the internet, and everyone's taste is different. That's why that survey is useful, as it has a much sample size.

            • @t3chshopper: Thanks. Appreciate your 411. I have still got about half a 2.7kg container of ON Extreme Chocolate and I bought a Vanilla flavor from Aminoz with a price beat just yesterday so I might give the strawberry flavor from these guys a go. Ta

Id second smooth choc, and vanilla. Only other flavour I’ve got is choc brownie and would never get that again

      • Strawberry Cream, Salted Caramel and Apple Pie are decent, if a bit too sweet.
Chocolate Smooth is inoffensive but I don't get the internet circlejerk. Same with banana.
Rocky Road tastes like chocolate and strawberry that got left in the sun for a month. Latte tastes like chocolate that someone spilled their week-old Blend 43 into.
Choc mint, matcha and blueberry cheesecake are okay in small doses, but you have to cycle them with one or two other flavours if you don't want to hate yourself.
Speculoos is best avoided unless you are the kind of person who snorts nutrasweet on a saturday night. Milk tea is like that x10.
If you buy pineapple then you get what you deserve.

Cherry Blossom is the closest taste to pure cancer that mankind has created. I think that's gone now, which is probably best for humanity.

Honestly though, all powders taste bad. You aren't buying them for deliciousness.

WAITING FOR THE DEAL , THANKS OP

$15.00 per kg of flavoured whey from a tested source, delivered, seems like a decent deal to me.

      • ordered multiple times, love most of their porducts :)

  • Does anyone understand the difference between Essential Omega-3 250x300mg@$19.99 and Vegan Omega 3 180x375mg@$50.99?

The cheaper one has 120mg of DHA, vs 250mg in the other one, other than that, the inflated price is just a vegan tax?

    • Looks like its made from a different process - "Made from marine algae, our Vegan Omega is an alternative to traditional fish oil supplements"

      • Thanks. So it's made from fish food as opposed to fish. Do we have the right enzyme to break it down? Or does it not matter because it's been processed enough lol

        • Looks, tastes, and does the same thing as normal fish oil.

If you're not a dumbass or allergic to fish oil just buy the cheaper one.

  • Anyone used the overnight recovery blend? Worth it over the slow release casein?

    • Both are marketing gimmicks. Just buy WPC or whatever is cheaper.

  • I'm in the market for citrulline malate. Anyone tried this mobs offering and has any opinions? Other comparable and cost effective solutions?

Making your own pre is an exercise in irritation and stockpiling random 78% full bags. Just buy Transparent Labs and get on with your day.

If you insist, though, Bulk Powders is cheaper than MyP.

$70 for 30 serves of filler ingredients? Nty. Citrulline, BA and caffeine - done.

MyProtein (when on sale) is cheaper than bulk powders though?

OT: I've used their Citrulline Malate for ages, no issues.

        • +1

I mean, not only are the top two ingredients the ones you listed (and one of the only pwo powders with them in an actual effective dose), but they also explain why each ingredient is included, with references. Also, my last order worked out to $50/30 serves, shipped, which isnt much more than what you pay for underdosed supermarket trash - and I'd rather not deal with the hassle to save a trivial amount of money or the risk of drunkenly smashing a scoop of caffeine like old mate. But you do you.

BP is $50/kg base, without sales or the $10 welcome code that bring that down. MP is $54/$49.50 per kg after their regular 40/45% off 'sales'.

Bulk Nutrients have Citrulline Malate, pretty good price, especially if you are after other things like EAAs, Glutamine, Creatine. $7 flat shipping usually arrives overnight for me.

  • Are they guaranteeing postage during these harsh times?..

  • 1% PayPal surcharge? What nonsense is this? :x Damn it, MP!

  • Has anyone's order arrived in Australia yet? Mine is still stuck on 'International transit to destination country' since the 17th. Looks like Coronavirus is gonna cause issues for all international imports for the foreseeable future.
