No.
But you got me curious so I just did a quick analysis…
Can't comment on the added Glutamine, Aquamin Minerals & β-Hydroxy β-methylbutyric acid (HMB). I haven't done any research into the benefits of these.
But looking only at the protein quality, assuming the amino acid profile reported on the packaging is accurate, higher levels of histadine mean that it's actually a really high quality protein. The percentage of whey protein we can digest is typically limited by histadine, so boosting the histadine allows us to utilise more of the other amino acids.
This results in a DIAAS of 1.63 which is higher than any of the 16 WPIs on my list. Considering this is technically a WPC blend, it's punching well above it's weight.
Reasonable price point also means that for $/g of useable protein - it represents excellent value. Def one I will be considering in future.
Is this okay for my Chihuahua? I’d like him to fill out a bit so his look matches his big personality.
Probs make him crap himself to death if you give him more then 1g
I have used this creatine, it's not the best. Feels gritty. There are other ones which are much better.
There are other ones which are much better.
…such as??
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CKWPXM2S?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_co…
This is much better. Maybe wait for a deal on this one.
Currently on this right now, and even though it’s much higher in price, it’s worth it if you don’t want that gritty taste
Should only buy brands that use creapure, it's expensive but its 99.9% and tested.
true, but getting harder to find at an ok price these days and crazy how much supps have gone up in 5 years.
I have this and don’t see any gritty’ness
Same, I've bought this before and didn't have issues.
I've used INC creatine and have just gone to faction labs creatine from chemist warehouse. The faction labs is so fine that it mixes so well in my drinks. INC would get clumpy
INC would get clumpy
Wow that is pretty bad. I've never experienced any creatine brand being clumpy before
non micronised creatine can clump, kind of like it's attracting moisture
Black Friday is at the end of the month, you can't have black November!
No, its christmas already. January is easter.
Ozbargains is not a platform for racism
Bugger, onto the next platform.
https://premiumsupps.net/products/creatine-monohydrate?varia… $19.48kg rn on premiumsupps. They’re having 50% everything, went to make a post about it but they’re banned on here because something to do with lack of credibility or something along those lines. I’ve bought from them multiple times and think their products are well worth the money
$10 shipping for me so $29.48 total. Thanks
legend, thanks :)
personally, any business without a .com.au is instant -50% credibility in my books. It's not that hard.
just as well credibility isn't a currency. I doubt they care.
.com is cheaper and these guys clearly look like they're running a lean operation.
Thanks for this post. If it's kosher I'm in!
Just got one. Fingers crossed. Thanks!
At BlackBelt, we focus on in-house manufacturing, raw ingredient traceability, and third-party lab testing.
Yet no detail exists on that page about country of origin, and nothing about 3rd party test results.
Yeah, fancy talk for we don't want to show you the lab results because they either aren't good or don't exist.
Personally prefer to spend a little more per 100g and just go with bulk nutrients who have their lab results.
Focal Nutrition: https://ebay.us/m/o78pYj
$31.45 per kg with free shipping if you buy four bags at once. It does settle at the bottom of my coffee a bit, but swirling at the end prevents any issues and I've been happy with the benefits.
focal's $34.94 delivered for 1kg – cheaper than op's deal
i've always been getting these when ebay throws some $5/$10 off $30 coupon. not sure what OP's deal offers over this.
Taking creatine and coffee together has shown to essentially negate the effects of both.
Interesting and good to know, any links to these studies?
BB > FN
Been having FN for a few months. Really don't like the taste, which I would describe as quite sour and metallic, like rusty water.
Got some Black Belt creatine a couple of days ago and was pleasantly surprised. Far more neutral tasting. Slightly grittier, but on the whole easier to drink.
I paired it up with 2kg of Casein and used a coupon code for free shipping.
$39.99 on Amazon free shipping with Prime.
I last bought it for $33.14 through Amazon so unless needed now I would say HODL.
But BB is cheaper with sign up for free shipping. Are you already a BB customer?
I've taken creatine for ~7 years, and this is the one and only brand I can't recommend. I forced myself through ~600g of this until I gave up and just bought another brand. Doesn't dissolve at all! Very grainy like another user mentioned. Mine had many big clumps too
What's your favourite? Personally, flavour is more a determining factor for me than solubility. I just put it in a shaker and skull it while swilling between mouthfuls.
Their Micellar Casein is some of the best value protein on the market. Typically high quality protein than even WPI. Grabbed a couple of kgs with my creatine.
It's great for your rest days, taken in the evening before bed.
I bought a bunch of their products on a promotion last year and had a terrible experience.
They shipped me the wrong products and then told me too bad so sad. "If you want the right ones you can pay to ship the wrong ones back" was the message I was given.
It wasn't something like an incorrect flavour, but the wrong products entirely.
Additionally their 'casein' isn't casein at all but falsely labelled whey protein concentrate.
The issues I encountered and the way it was handled by the business left a taste shittier even than of their 'Protella'.
Don't trust this mob.
Just bought some of their casein and the first ingredient listed is Milk Protein Isolate (ie Casein). Not sure what product you were looking at.
Also find it hard to believe that they wouldn't correct sending the wrong product. Got any evidence of this?
My experiencing within them so far has been excellent.
I'm glad to hear your experience has been excellent. Perhaps they have improved, both their customer service and their packaging, because the casein I received was explicitly labeled 100% Whey Protein Concentrate and mixed exactly like whey.
I have the emails and photos of the incorrect products, but I won't be posting private correspondence online just to satisfy a stranger's skepticism.
The fact remains: they shipped the wrong items and then told me I had to pay to fix their error. That handling is why I'm advising people not to trust them.
Has anyone tried their “platinum” protein?
