Price is fair but these r the most uncomfortable headphones for ppl with medium - large ears. The cups r not over the ear design at all! More like on ear headphones

I would say I have decently sized ears, with previous more round shaped ear cups I would be uncomfortable and "tucking" my ear into the pads. But these Sennheisers HD4.50BTNC are super comfy for me. But with any headphone purchase I would recommend people try them on first.

Felt the same, my ears are not that big but felt super uncomfortable with the ear cups. I eventually needed to swap it with my wife for a bigger pair of headphones. What a shame.

    • Which are the best noise cancelling headphones for people with large ears? I've tried the Sony XM3 and they just weren't comfortable for me because of my large ears. I am yet to try the Bose ones, they seem larger?

      • Go for the PXC 550, I have Massive ears and they're great for me.

      • Hey, the qc35 are comfortable as. I once had them on an 8hour flight and went to sleep with them with just ANC on cos the planes so fuken loud. Woke up at my destination dind't even realise i was wearing them while sleeping. hope this helps.

  • 100-10,000 hz freq response on the HN spec sheet, is that correct ?

seems that is the mic speakers go 20 k plus.

    • from the official web site
      Frequency response (Microphone): 100 - 10,000 Hz
      Frequency response: 18 - 22,000 Hz

      • grabbed a pair, seems had to do postage ……to get OW price match would depend if HN have stock, OW seems to check stock in state or add postage.

        • If you price match for C&C at OW on the phone, postage shouldn't be included even if nearby stores don't have stocks as Harvey Norman offers free C&C I think

That one is 4.4 not 4.5

bing lee is 440, 450 btnc is $164.

  • can you compare this with bose QC35?

    • +1

Think the Bose and Sony are a league above. Hence they cost over double this, sale vs sale price

Not really…Sony have cheaper ANC headphones ( for example the Sony ch700n) that no better than this.
If you talking QC35 and 1000XM3, then you need to looking at Sennheiser PXC550 II for comparaison.

Are these comfortable if you have smaller ears?

    • Yes can confirm, Mrs has small ears & fits comfortably. Uncomfortable for larger ears only.

  • +1

I also have human sized ears and find these pretty uncomfortable. The material is nice and soft, but they are just too small and end up hurting the ear.

Happy with everything else. And also fantastic battery life.

At this price, it's a great buy. But horrible treble control.

Got these for $100 with the whisky deal a while back. Probably the worse headphones I have ever bought. Cheap plasticy build, head squeeze when on and pressure spots on the ear after short period of wear. I wouldnt say I have a particularly large head or ear. Maybe just above average.

I have these headphones for 2 years now. Impressive headphones for this price (i paid $190 back then).

Yeah the earpads are pretty small and can be pretty uncomfortable, but if you have around extra $50 you can get the memory foam earpads from Brainwavz and that should solve the issue. Those earpads will break apart after a year anyways.

Also this headphone has Noise Cancelling, but it's not as good as the Bose QC series. Really it doesn't do any cancelling except for some noises here and there.

For some reason it sounds better if you have it plugged in with NC on, and slightly worse with wireless and NC on.

    Picture of my headphones now

  • Most of the reviews I’ve watched / read mention the microphone being terrible on calls.

I’m actually looking for a pair to use while COVID-19 remote working, so critical to have top notch microphone / call quality..

Kinda bummed I missed out on the refurb Sony XM3’s recently.

    • Sony XM also do not sound good on microphone…
Check out PXC 480 deal, they are wired and offers much better call quality with in line controls

      • Ended up buying the Bose NC 700’s.

      • Or the PXC550 if you need wireless, It has the best Mic out of all the Bluetooth ANC headphones I have tried.

    • It's kind of okay with the calls, but not at crowdy areas though.

  • i might test these out before i buy one. the next person trying it on has a chance of catching it =s

    • User name checks out.

  • Is this due to the conrona viruse, or just bormans tactics.

      those are 4.40s

  • Purchased, thanks.
I find them comfortable and as far as I know I have a pretty average fit caucasian male head.
The sound is good. Much better accuracy than the Beats I've heard if anyone was wondering.
Really only bought for long flights.

  • Any suggestion for noise cancellation +microphone? I'm more than happy to have wired models

  • Dose anyone know if the warranty is international?
