[PRICE ERROR] Duracell Alkaline AA Battery 24 Pack $0.72 + $10 Delivery @ Bulk Batteries via Amazon

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Came across this while looking for AA batteries. Regular price $22.68.

Bought 5 packs. So that's 120 AA batteries for $13.60. Good deal I think.

I'm a PRIME member but no free delivery it appears.

  • I’m in for 5 too!

    • Same

    • 5 packs of batteries to go with my 5 bathroom sinks. :)

    • Just had a online chat with them they dont even have a clue of selling these at that price

    • How are you getting 5 for $13.60? I can only get 1 for $22.68 + shipping

  • Shame they don't combine postage for other products :(

    • +2

ninja edit: they do. i bought a few boxes of AAAs and Ds and only paid $10 shipping

  • In for 9!

  • +7

I went for 8….. no idea on the expiry date on them, but I'll be handing them out up and down the street if needed!

    Great ozbargain find!

    • +8

but I'll be handing them out up and down the street if needed!

we need more people like you in times like these :)

Don't forget that German-made Varta ones are $9.92 for 30 every day at Bunnings.

Got 5 packs for $13.60 great deal.

  • Holy crap! What a deal. Thanks op!

  • +1

    Thanks, got 10 boxes.

Good to give out to extended family and friends.

  • 10 packs ordered

  • Not actually sold or delivered by Amazon; the store should be mentioned in title - Bulk Batteries

  • Please note the seller is third party. You will not get Prime delivery bonuses.

  • In for 5 packs as well! Good find!

3rd party seller with only 15 feedback. No chance of this getting honored.

    • +6

May be right. Likely right? Really though is it worth a neg? We all can cite plenty of examples of where pricing errors have been honoured. Just my 2c

      • +6

72c (+ delivery) to be precise

      • +3

I think a neg is fair, drew my attention to low feedback seller and likely others too

        • +2

Fair. But still OP had that information in the post so it wasn't really hidden.

      • If they honor this, they'll go under… Unless this is expired stock or they stole it

Understanding that, I bought disappointment insurance for $20 from them with option to chargeback

    • +1

And yet I bought 15 hahaha

    • +3

You’re just speculating. Not fair to neg.

    • +1

Not neg worthy but thanks for the heads-up. I'll pass on this tempting little number

    • +3

OK where are all the idiots that down voted me now? It was obvious this was going to be canceled.

Should be illegal to sell non rechargeables these days.

    • +1

There should be some situations where these batteries are okay. But yeah generally all batteries should use modern & future rechargeable chemistry. There's so much room for new battery R&D too. Not to mention electric cars forcing massive innovation on battery tech.

  • +10

    What a waste. Get eneloops!

    • +10

Yes but some devices don't work with the lower voltage of rechargeable batteries, such as clocks of which my wife has many. :(

      • +3

I’ve got to ask…..why does your wife have so many clocks?

        • +12

          the more hands the better

        • +6

Sometimes, a man's clock isn't enough for his wife and she must go out and seek other clocks.
When this happens, we say the man is a cuckoo.

          • @Yarkin: I think you have clock confused with something else.

        • She just likes clocks. Off the top of my head I can count 11, and none are digital. The gonging ones are the worst, well apart from the loud ticking ones in the bedroom.

    • +1

I would agree with you…. But my Oculus Rift touch controllers don't seem to like rechargeable batteries.
AKA they'll drop out at around 1.1v

      • lol but those touch controllers will burn through these batteries.

        • That is true. But when the touch controller drops out at 1.1v it leaves quite a bit on the table for other projects that can take the lower voltage :D

    Wouldn't this be a cheaper alternative? https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00NFR1M7U
Still AA alkaline batteries, but with Prime delivery from Amazon AU?

    • +3

Your link gives 60 batteries for $19.10, but this deal gives 312 batteries for the same price…

But I am pretty sure this deal is a price error and won't be honoured anyway.

    • +1

How is it cheaper? you are getting 60 for $19.10 vs this deal 3 boxes (24×3=72) at $12.16.

      • +1

Ahh my bad, I thought it was $10 delivery per box, rather than $10 flat delivery (irrespective of how many boxes). Never mind.

  • They dont charge you until they are shipped with Amazon right? If this is the case whats there to lose?

    • It seems Amazon charged my credit straight after I placed my order. I got a notification for that spending with my bank's mobile app.

      • Same

  • Christmas sorted.

    • Awesome thanks! I needed the AAA more than AA batteries

    • Says AAA on the box but 9V in the title.

      • +1

        But AAA in the description

      • Hoping they 9v lol

  • Got mine, thanks! Will check if they D batteries for torches. 🙌🏽

    • +1

Lol i did, buy fast or miss out haha

      • +1

i've made it a habit to search cashrewards for the store first. gotta get cheap batteries and cashbacks on those cheap batteries!

    • +1

Ain't nobody got time for that! Won't be much cashback anyway as the order excludes delivery $$

    • I hope no one forget using suncorp rewards

      • I hope no one expects to receive these.

  • -2

    Thanks, got a hundred boxes

    • +5

I hope they aren't near expiry . Went all types to keep the postage down to $10 . AAA are expensive at 4 for 62 cents in comparison . Max on all lol

    • DIY single use Tesla?

  • +1

Chances of this being honoured - 0.1%

Still ordered anyway just to join in on some fun.

  • +1

I'm in for 10 packs.. let's see how this turns out :)

  • Thanks I'll try my luck with a few boxes

  • +1

These ones seemed the best value to me.. 0.91c and 144 AA energizer batteries https://www.amazon.com.au/Energizer-EN91-Industrial-Alkaline…

    • At the end of the description says: Units per pack: 24

      • Maybe there is 6 packs in total in a box or something?

  • This is going to be interesting if they honour it or like sh&t fight similar to the SD cards a few months back!!

  • +6

80 Pack of Energizer AA Lithium for $4.24 thats insane!

You would be hard pressed to use those before the 7 year shelf life ends!

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07PXJVCFT

    • Thanks, got x2. Great for those who use digital cameras still.

    • Thanks, ordered two packs, see how it goes.

  • +3

Less chance of being honoured if some people broden the item by buying up heaps of boxes.

    • I don't think they will honour it

  • Thanks op bought aaa and aa 2 packs each, have enough spares from ikea so let you guys buy many as you like ;)

Energizer Max Alkaline Batteries AAA 2 Each (Pack of 360) - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07QVKX6KG

    • +1

I don’t know if pack of 360 means pack of 360. But ordered 5 anyways HAHAHAHA

    • Great so for $37.30 I can get 10,800 batteries lol . About a third of a cent each .

      • lol, just added myself in that list :)

    • Ordered 6 packs - shipment expected 25Mar - 6Apr but money has been deducted from my card immediately. Usually Amazon charge me when they ship the order. Something smells fishy here I reckon.
