  • I was thinking "Hey they are doing this deal again, better stock another three bottles, since the oil from last deal ran out". Then I realise there's one digit different in the price, and it was $24.99 with the free filter last Dec.

So I will pass this time and wait for another three months.

Would not use this shit if you paid me…clogs up beyond belief in my experience. I'd rather sit there in the car to reasonably warm it up, then drive slowly up a few streets to get to normal operating temperature

You would be surprised that it's the standard oil for many new cars. Mercedes and Mitsubishi use it for example (personal experience).

      • You have obviously not stripped down a car that has used it. Have had more than one car clogged up and ruined by this sticky rubbish. Definitely don't use it in a BMW. Maybe okay for older cars.

In short, don't believe the advertising on this stuff.

      • I do agree. It is above average engine oil, though this price may be ordinary.

Tried a few brands of oil and from the experience of using this on my last car I owned for 10 years I am sticking :-) with it! Good stuff.

  • Bargain my arse.

BigW lowest price is $34, and just about every month its $25 on managers special….

supercheap auto is selling this for $35.88 without a free oil filter.

I would rather buy Shell Helix at the moment on sale in Supercheap auto(Shell Helix HX-7 10W-40 at 55% off down to $14.79)) if you buy filter from them. Filter for my car is cheaper in Supercheap auto anyway.

    • Nothing on their website mentions the HX-7, is it national wide or just store sale?
