Finished work at 6pm and tried coles again as I was going past going home and they had heaps of 1kg bags of flour
@bigpallooka: Probably because people are rushing in first thing in the morning in search of toilet paper
Make your own with plain flour + baking powder
Managed to pick up a 12 pack at local Coles
Now have 2 x 12 packs over 2 weeks
That should last us half a year

Went to my local super mn markets today

Normality restored!
Everything is basically back to normal at my locals.
Except for bleach. Specifically, cheap house brand bleach.
Toilet paper is stacked full, and no one seems to be buying it.
Most people probably have enough for 6 months or more.
Envisioning a a toilet paper sale in the near future lol.

Made a trip to Peter's of Kensington and shelves are almost empty.. the store is always busting at the seams
Went to munno para and both coles and foodland didn't have any lasagne sheets
Tried woolworths round the corner from me and they didn't have any either
Just got enough for tonight but next time I see some in the shops I'll grab at least 3 packs

quite surprised that all toilet paper in my local supermarkets once again has gone just for a 7 day lockdown,
when will people learn…..
Popped into Coles World Square today and they had pretty much everything as per normal except toilet paper & sanitisers. Plenty supply of bread, meat, rice, pasta, eggs etc which was impossible to find last week. Some soap bars/handwash bottles but still not full range yet.
I'm sure it's half hoarding has reduced and half people not going out to buy things, but looks like things are getting back to normal which is great.
They've also started queuing lines for entry and wiping down each basket one by one to hand you as you enter.
