RGT Cycling, the new innovative virtual cycling platform, has today announced that it is making all of its Premium features available for free to all indoor cyclists, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Workouts, organizing your own events and creating your own roads are now freely available for all (usually £12.99 / $14.99 per month), allowing all riders the opportunity to benefit from RGT Cycling’s global indoor cycling simulator, stay active, ride with others and explore iconic cycling roads during these unprecedented and challenging times.

The RGT team has made this decision in response to the developing situation around COVID19, having yesterday seen national governing body British Cycling suspend all sanctioned cycling activities and suggest restrictions on club riding. Meanwhile, governments in cycling hotbeds Italy and Spain have banned recreational cycling outdoors with other nations expected to follow suit.

  Good deal - don't have a smart trainer though and hoping we can still ride outside right through COVID-19 crisis

    If you can find a cheapish bluetooth speed sensor (the small dongle ones that go in the rear hub), you can make your "dumb" trainer Zwift compatible at a reasonable price. It may be the same for RGT. That's how I do it. Obviously not the authentic experience, but still a pretty good substitute.

  Nice find. I was one of the first to join Zwift but I've been looking for something different to get re-motivated.
