Set in the fantastical, watercolored world of Lemuria, Child of Light stars Aurora, a princess on a quest to save her kingdom with the help of a mystical companion named Igniculus. Throughout her journey, Aurora will recruit a colorful cast of allies to join her in the fight, confront enemies in turn-based combat, upgrade her team's skills and gear to take on bigger challenges, and solve puzzles to progress through the world.

        same … loved it at beginning. But it was so monotonous and eventually stopped playing as it took too much time and my pile of shame (i.e. games you buy but doesn't play due to lack of time or lost interest) was growing.

        The visuals were great but you're right, towards the end I was struggling trying to get through it due to boredom.

    This got such great reviews, but I also found the demo lacking, especially in gameplay. I'll give it another shot, though. Thanks OP!

    Decent game, loved the visuals and sound track is gorgeous. Combat is a bit monotonous.

        No chance… I'm working from home during the pandemic. I work for the Government in a department focused on helping the economy stay afloat during lockdown and recover once we exit lockdown. If anything, I'll have less time to game.

    Can anyone advise where the Uplay app shows what you have in your library? I have added this and i can install it if i want but i cant see anywhere to suggest i own it should i not install it now? Can anyone advise as imsure i had added another game from a free promo some months back and i cant see that anywhere either.

    When I click on the get it for free link it take me to an activation key page. Where do I get an activation code?

    Did anyone try click 'get it for free' the game. When I pressed click it said 0 dolar in quantity, but subtotal - cart 1 item is A$6.78. Where is that $6.78 even come from? hahaha

          No my existing account was able to get it without any problem. Just log into your account using the UPLAY app. Select Games from the top menu. Scroll down to free games and choose Child of Light Giveaway. Here you will be able to get the game (to keep forever) and install the game on your computer whenever you're ready to play.

    I got in a chat support session with Ubisoft and after a bit of backwards and forward they pointed me to a different URL and it worked straight away. try this: https://register.ubisoft.com/child-of-light/en-AU worked for me !
