    • +1

Yes this is a good phone, I got mine from the uk in february, but anyone considering this should be aware of the motorola defy+, expected to be released in the uk within the next few months(not sure about the rest of the world): http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/5460/
Not sure how different it is but that preorder price works out at about AU$340 delivered and it comes with gingerbread which may not be released for the current model.

      • Main difference is the "+" is faster (800MHz—>1GHz):
"Quick smart 1GHz Processor upto 25 percent faster than its predecessor"

  • "IP67 certified - dust and water submersible (up to 1m for 30 mins) "
Wow! I haven't seen that feature on a smartphone before. That's actually very cool

  • Does anyone own this?
Is this better or spend 100 more for Samsung Galaxy S with 1 Ghz processor?

Someone mentioned here the Defy next version for : 357 delivered. Though its a preorder

  • I must admit I like a phone that can survive a drop in the bath tub/pool…These phones are physically tough too. A friend's child threw his across the room where it hit the wall, bounced on the floor and was without damage.

  • @gargans The galaxy s dosent survive when u drop it in the toilet i know i tried :P

    • Ouch.. looks like, i am shot with a 'r' in between…
Its newer version is also coming with better specs.
