    Delivery from Harvey Norman came in at $7.95 for me in WA, well short of the $30.19 quoted from Billy Guyatts.

    500g flour (bread flour is best because of the higher protein content, but plain is fine)
    7g yeast
    370ml water
    10g salt

    Mix together, don't worry about kneading (you can if you want). Cover with cling film.

    Let rise in a cool spot all day, or in the fridge for longer. (Longer is better).

    Shape into a free form loaf with a little flour to make the dough workable in your hands, and place on a baking sheet. There are plenty of great tips on achieving a batard shape. Give it a slash down the middle at a slight angle with the sharpest knife you have.

    Bake in a 220C + (hotttt) oven for at least 40 minutes.. longer.. get the bits to catch.

    It's very much like the toilet paper issue, low stock does not make something a bargain. Furthermore, this mentality makes all rare items bargains, which they are not, unless they are selling them bellow rrp and lower then competitors.

    maybe this either needs changing to we have stock if you cant get elsewhere for standard price as other retailers and remove connotations that this is a deal….
