Ugg Australia® we have been making sheepskin boots for over three decades in our former Brunswick factory. Operating Australia’s last and ONLY sheepskin tannery, "Roman Tannery", for footwear guarantees that we are the only one in the world who has 100% Australian Made Ugg boots.

We encourage all customers to do some research when looking to purchase any brand of Ugg Boots.

Ensure you purchase from reputable websites or stores.
Contact details - If you can't find the business address or contact number of the business you have purchased boots from, who will help you with customer issues.
There are so many sheepskin boots out there claiming to be 100% Australian Made. How can you tell one authentic boot from the rest?

What to ask your retailer when buying your sheepskin products.

Where are your skins from?
Where are they processed?
Are the boots hand cut, hand stitched, hand glued in Australia?
Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.

All Ugg Australia® products are 100% Australian made at our factory and ecologically processed at our Roman Tannery in Laverton North, Melbourne.

These are class slippers. Lasted two seasons for me, heading into my third.

    • Thanks OP, I ordered 3 pairs. Happy to support Aussie business. Just check if there is any update on when these will be in the mail? Happy to wait on due the current situation but an update would be good.

  • +2

Are these genuine? "Luda Production Pty Ltd" is the company who owns the site and stock…

    • +2

Yes these are geniune. We are the only Ugg Australia made in Australia. We are the only Australian manufacturer of Ugg Boots with a sheepskin footwear tannery in Australia.

    • Worth noting, I ordered these as part of a similar deal last year, and the slippers are nice, but no Ugg branding (no Ugg tags or box). They may be legit, but made in a different facility to the 'premium' Uggs..

      • +3

These are our Made by Ugg Australia branded boots so they come with a tag that says Made by Ugg Australia on them. Everything is made in our sheepskin footwear tannery in Laverton North.

        • any branding stamped onto the shoe (or sole) ?

        • +2

I have 2 pairs of these, ordered 7/5/19 from Ugg Australia. One has an Opal tag stitched on, the other only has a care instructions tag. Both have the "Australian made and owned" tag. Neither have Ugg anywhere on them, stitched or otherwise.

          • +2

@geekninja: Prime example of how this UGG name is used by every ugg and his ugly duckling. It's confusing.

            • @Naigrabzo: Yep, very confusing. Last pair I ordered was same as @geekninja.

They should have all their products with some sort of branding somewhere and stick to it.

My current pair have opal on right slipper, and care instructions and made in Australia on left slipper. No branding anywhere which really sucks. I thought I had fake Chinese pair as the UGG name is really confusing being on every single slipper sold online.

@ marketing rep it would be nice to have an UGG symbol under the soles so your customers know and have the confidence on the products you sell. I'm actually surprised they been made this way tbh

  • Can you add charcoal colour for men to the promotion?

    • We only have the Ian Scuffs in charcoal at the moment. You can currently use the code HOME and get 20% off.

      • What's the difference? The picture and description looks identical.

This, from Wikipedia, clears up some of the questions above:

"Prior legal disputes between some manufacturers of sheepskin boots arose as to distinguish whether "ugg" is a protected trademark, or a generic term and thus ineligible for trademark protection. There are more than 70 registered trademarks that include the term "ugg" in various logos and designs in Australia and New Zealand, as the term is considered a generic reference to a type of shoe. Outside Australia and New Zealand, UGG is a brand manufactured by the California-based Deckers Outdoor Corporation, with most of its manufacturing based in China and with registered trademarks in over 130 countries worldwide including the US, UK, Canada, all European Union members, and China.

A noteworthy manufacturer in Australia and New Zealand is the Luda Productions of Australia, which has roughly 75% of the market share in Australia; EMU Australia Binder Corporation and Westhaven Industries. Deckers is the leading manufacturer of the footwear style outside Australia. By 2010, worldwide sales by Australian manufacturers combined equaled 5.9% of Deckers UGG boots sales, with UGG dominating the world market."

Ordered a couple of pairs. I presume the inner sole measurement is strictly correct.

  • +1

I'm wearing these right now thanks to the last deal. Very warm! Would recommend.

  • Wearing mine now. So good. Although, I should have got a size smaller, not because my size is bigger, but I chose wrong

  • Very comfortable and warm. bought from last deal.

  • +1

what's the bottom sole made of? does it scuff floors?

    • +4

Foam-like sole, you'd be hard-pressed to scuff anything with them.

  • Would you size up or down if you were between sizes (for the womens)?

  • +1

  • Thanks OP! Got some for my family to get through winter comfortably

  • Haven't had Uggs for a few years, so picked up two pairs, thanks!

  • Got one, cheers.

  • +4

got a pair for myself back in may 2019. they run one size larger in my opinion. they're sized more like boots so if you're US 8, you should go with 7.

    • Yep agree, I think they use UK sizing which is -1US

I'm a size 11US , ordered same size and there easily a size big, Ive got half an inch behind my heel 🙄

  • +1

Love these, im wearing my pair all the time due to work from home.

  • Does anyone know if the 'chestnut' colour is exactly as shown in the photos, or different in real life?

    • It will be as close to as possible.

    • +1

      According to website

This product can vary in colour as it is handcrafted and is made from natural materials.

Upvote for the only true Aussie Uggs available!!!

  • Went for black

  • Great. Never tried these before but reviews look glowing. Bought two pairs!

    • They're amazing, akin to walking on clouds

  • Is this made from a real sheep? Is it actual skin? Did they peel it off a dead sheep? Or is it just called sheepskin?

    • If you do a quick google you'll see the UGG Boots aren't the most 'Vegan Friendly' shoe.

  • Grabbed a pair! I am size UK 8.5 and ordered a size 8. I figured that a 9 might be slipping off my feet given that they have no back. Hope they fit! Thanks!

  • How much is shipping?

  • Thanks, need some slippers …

    • I should have ordered a second pair, doh

  • -1

Am I missing something, says 29.70 but following the link price is 70.00?
    edit: nevermind, I'm an idiot

    • There's a coupon code ;)

    • They both work

      • Weird - I get a "This site can’t be reached" While I can reach ozb alright.
Even googled for uggaustralia and https://uggaustralia.com.au/ doesn't load either
Guess am not destined for these shoes. Sigh
Updat e: Was able to order through my phone.

  • Thanks OP. Purchased a blue pair.

Great price and also more than happy to be able to support a local manufacturer.

  • thanks, bought 2 pairs! Happy to support a great aussie business

  • bought 3 pairs… Support Australian manufacturing at all costs!

  • -1

    Is there cashback!?

  • Thanks, got a pair. The product page is a bit misleading in that it suggests only a certain colour and size are available — is this just for items that are almost out?

  • So cheap, I buy.

  • Bought one. Thanks.

It's interesting that the same product was on sale 3 times at $28 last years or even 2 pairs for $51 delivered, but none had more than 20 votes.

    • +1

Came here just to say this too, I am glad a great Aussie company getting love, just surprised it's so much also. I purchased a couple of pairs 2 different times last year for around the same price with free shipping and dont remember this many upvotes. Anyway, all good!

      • Can you give your review on these?bought one but not sure should I buy a few more pairs.

Have always been wearing cheap synthetic, memory foam insole ones from Bigw, Kmart, Target. They usually last max one season. The insole wears out and flattens very quickly.

        • +1

Look mate they are a genuine product made here in Australia so excellent quality and obviously supporting Australian business, which is even more important in these dark times. I think the sizing is AU or UK so if you usually go by US size then downsize 1. Can't go wrong for this price.

  • +1

Thanks OP, just ordered two pairs. Been buying these for years, they are the best scuffs for around the house.

  • Excellent price! Thank you.

  • Bought two pairs.
