  • What kind of hand grinder are we talking about here? I see none on your website…

    • +2

Nope. Clearly didn't look very hard. Found it 2 mins after posting…

  • How do you get the 40% off? If I select a 1kg bag and checkout it shows as $45.

    • Should be automatic. Is there a specific product you can't get this to work for? If so let us know and we'll fix it ASAP.

      • +2

Ah, I see. It doesn't include pre-ground coffee beans.

  • Worked for me, got 2x1kg bags of the Mastro blend for $54 delivered.

    • how much was postage?

      • +1

From OP "Free Shipping across Australia for orders over $30"

  • Hi,are you doing the same deal on your killer coffee line?

    • We haven't got anything running for Killer at the moment. If we do end up doing a promo, we always announce them on our mailing list so if you're signed up you won't miss out.

    • Hey mate I've been buying from these guys for a while because the coffee is amazing tbh

You should try mastro it's strong but bitter free like killer

Honestly it tastes better than killer but not as much caffeine

"Plus, we'll also throw in one of our Hand Grinders for free with discounted orders as a bonus." There's no reference to this on the site right? Will take your word for it?

    • +6

Sorry for the confusion - there's an awkward limitation that prevents us from showing the Hand Grinder in cart. All discounted orders will get one free Hand Grinder during this promotion.

If somehow you end up receiving your discounted order without a hand grinder, you can contact us on https://adorecoffee.com.au/retailcontact/. I'll then smack our dispatch guys a bit and get them to send one out.

        No worries :) I ordered 2 bags.

Thanks for the offer. Any suggestions for best blend for flat whites, sweet as possible preferred?

Also would you be able to split the kg into smaller 250g bags at all?

    • +2

Jay5 is a good blend for flat whites. A balanced and lively blend, with flavour profile: dark chocolate, pitted fruits, subtle honey. If you're particularly keen on sweeter notes you could consider Jackson or Lotus.

Sorry to be inflexible mate, but we aren't able to split up the bags for an order.

  • Which do you suggest for cold brew?

    • A personal taste thing I reckon. Some folks seem to favour heavier, smoother blends for cold brewing though, so I'd suggest the rich and well-rounded Mastro or the bold and full-bodied Darkwolf.

  • I can't place my order. I use paypal and it say invalid state. I live in NSW. I have checked my address in paypal and it is fine.

There's no way I can change the address.

    Thanks

    • Just saw your message. I faced the same issue but tried a few times. Not quite sure how, but eventually it accepted my order. I did not change any info.

  • Any decaf?

  • Be interested to compare this to my Hario mini grinder.

  • what do you recommend for long black

  • +1

At $27 a bag you will never regret this I've been buying from these guys for years because the coffee is so good

    This is an amazing price

My personal favorite is mastro/killer but Jackson is pretty great too

I picked up a bag of mastro yesterday and my killer came today so I don't think I'm buying heaps more atm :(

    • Thanks for the recommendations, order 1kg each of Mastro and Jackson

  • +1

guys definitely keen for advice - I've often used aldi beans ~$11kg, and often whenever trying random coffee beans from more alternatives (either shops or via ozbargain), they have not suited my taste, despite much more recent roasting date

Should i keep trying more? I'm happy enough with the flavour, so its harder for me to justify triple the price. Always keen to try new flavours i guess

    • I find that I like the one I'm most used to.
If you change beans for long enough your tastes might adjust and you prefer the new one.

  • How much is shipping? Interested but not in two bags.

    • shows $10 for me.

    • Select the second delivery option.

  • +2

Keep the grinder and offer free postage, you’ll get more business

Bought 3 bags.. normally I buy ground, but bought the beans with discount. Happy to do a little exercise at home using the free hand grinder.

  • Hi OP,

Is there an option to collect rather than have it shipped?

    Thanks.

    • Sorry mate, due to current circumstances (related to something that rhymes with vorona cirus) we're purely delivery.

      • +1

Leave it outside the store then ;)

Your offer is of good value, but I don't need 2kg ATM (to avoid the shipping fees). Next time.

  • Hey all,
I do not see the discounted price, a Kilo of Adore Mastro Blend Beans is coming up as $45
Is there a code I need to enter?

    Thanks

    • Did you choose beans or ground. Only applies to beans.

      • Hi Nigel,

Thanks for your reply, I found that when I go to the checkout it automatically changes to $27

Received my beans today with the grinder, looking forward to trying it thanks!

  • How long did you all take to get the order? I ordered on the 26th, but am yet to see anything.

    • Ordered on the 25th, has not arrived.

  • Still not received yet.

    • Just got an email from post office it will be delivered tomorrow. A bit slow.

      • Mine were 'in transit' 26th Mar
        Process at facility '27th Mar
        And nothing since.

So still in NSW by all accounts, destined for WA.

Not a reflection on Adore mind you, we all know how shit AP is.

        • Did you get yours yet? Was hoping it might make it here before the holiday

          • @jjno41: Nope, hasn't budged in NSW since 27th March :(
            Was hoping that too.

            • @nzcoops: Mine arrived yesterday (20th).
Roasted on 16th March so not too bad.

  • Hi OP, I notice you have two roaster locations - Melbourne and Sydney. Are Melb orders roasted at the Melb location, Syd orders at Syd location? Or do they roast different beans and blends, so depending on your order, you could get it from Melb or Syd?

With another roaster I know of, it is the latter; am curious about your setup.

    • +1

      Hey bluesky,

We roast out of our Sydney roastery only with Melbourne being more of a showroom / training facility warehouse despite having capacity to roast if needed. Prior to this pandemic we were freighting a few times per week to Melbourne, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Canberra.

If you would like to see the facility you can view our roastery tour video here: https://adorecoffee.com.au/whyadorecoffee/#roastery

      • Thanks, impressive operation. I can't wait to try your coffees :-)

  • Ordered on the 25th, received it yesterday. 1 week isn't too bad given what's going on. Unfortunately, to me the beans smell & taste stale. I've bought beans form Adore several times before, but this batch is disappointing.

    • Check if it already expires, they sent me some expired ones too

      • The bag is stamped with 12-03-2020 which I assume is the roast date, not the expiry date.

  • Bought 1kg of the Mastro and Jackson. Had my first cup of Masatro after receiving the bean a couple days ago and highly recommend the Mastro. Fantastic cup of coffee

  • Hi OP. Are you still throwing in the hand grinder? Cheers

    • Not anymore, they've run out. Sorry mate.

  • OP I have been sent expired coffee pods (Nov 2019). 4 out 5 boxes also expires in May 2020.

Honestly wouldnt buy them even at 50% off knowing the expiry dates.. Definitely cant finish 100 of em in 20 or so days

  • disappointment! i get that you guys need to clear stock, but my beans that arrived today are more than 6 weeks roasted.

with the excellent range of coffee deals available at the moment these beans are going to need to be stunning for me to buy again.

    • My order left on the 26th March, and hasn't budged from NSW since 27th March - not ideal on any front let alone the bean freshness.
