    • Do they still charge fees when you don't meet the bonus requirements?

    • I had a bit of a WTF moment. Ran it for 2 weeks. Glad you found out now rather than later.

    • It's probably safer to close AMP accounts than leave them lying around. In the past they would charge you for having the accounts, when you don't meet bonus requirements.

(They even charged me points when I met their bonus requirements till I had a chat with them; then they changed their advertising material to reflect details missing from the advertised bonus requirements)

  • Jut joined too, cant do Macquarie because I already did it. This and Rabo bank is currently the highest. Disappointed

    • Not much choice.
If you closed accounts with ING and Rabo, how long before they let you qualify for the bonus interest again if you reopen a new account?

      • +1

INGs rate is not a honeymoon rate, its everyday 1.80

  • I have just called them and they advised that if you have opened your account prior the change then you would enjoy the same bonus interest rate (1.6% on top of the base 1.05%) for the rest of the 6 months period. However, base rate might vary.

    • thats good news if its true

      • I just checked, mine is on 2.65 YAY

    • I've just noticed my app says the rate is 2.65 too, hmm

Never received any emails to indicate the rate changed
