  Beat me to it, the email came through and I was straight to purchase. Can easily kill 6months of playing this game, so dam good. If you don't own it buy it, it's as simple as that.

  Save your money for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and the expansions. A much much better game. In many ways it hasn't been topped by newer games.

  EDIT: Great the game has been pulled "due to expiring license rights".

    Idk about that, rct2 had so much soul and an isometric view. Plus there's the nostalgia factor. Keysites still have 3 available.

      I built a theme park for my wife's birthday in RCT3 over a decade ago, which I fired up after writing my comment. The Soaked and Wild! addons make the game so much better than any other theme park simulator I've seen.

      It inclduded:
      - Fireworks.
      - Laser show including a happy birthday message.
      - Dolphin and whale show show.
      - Bumper boats, go carts and other vehicles.
      - Zoo animals.
      - Swimming pool with over the top water slides.
      - Food stalls, amenities and coasters of course.

      I just fired it up after this morning, and it still holds up. You get to experience all of this as a guest in 1st person view btw. 1st person view graphics on par with Minecraft roughly speaking. Zoomed out the Park looks very detailed. And I know I didn't make full use of all the mechanics of the game. For me RCT3 will always hold both the better game play and the nostalgia. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

  Already own the game - great price - and countless memories; graphics are now a little dated; but still one of the greatest theme park sims of all time. In the time of world isolation and shutdowns, enjoy hoarding people together to ride your insane rollercoasters, and clean up the sidewalks, plus rake it in with salt loaded food, and ice filled beverages. So much content, such little price!
