Similar offer as other telcos. From Vodafone website and confirmed text was received by family member:

10GB bonus data for prepaid mobile customers as a one-off 10GB bonus data. It is being offered to active prepaid voice customers who have used their service in the last 30 days. The offer will be sent to these customers via an opt-in SMS from 31/03/20, with customers required to opt-in by texting the word ‘BOOST’ to 1263. Data will be applied within 72 hours. Data for use in Australia only and expires 30 days from receiving. Redeem by 30/04/20.

  Better than Optus. Optus will only offer prepaid customers who recharge $40 or more during April the extra data. That leaves out a whole lot of their prepaid customers.

  I ported my number to Voda on Monday and got 3 GB bonus (apart from other bonuses like auto-recharge bonus etc). Let me try this.

  Vodafone customer on two accounts.

  I recharged one yesterday and got a message that a bonus 3GB was auto-applied.

  The other didn't receive an SMS to opt in to any bonus data.

    There is no opt-in SMS which will come. You need to send as per instructions listed above.
    I too got the 3GB first automatically and after sending the text message as above got 10 GB bonus (it seems data is first getting used from this 10 GB bucket instead of our plan data).

  Everyone go check your unused but still active Vodafone number
  I have a prepaid number with Vodafone, the prepaid plan is expired, no credit available but number is still active
  I'm still able to send the SMS and got 10GB free data :)

  Stupidly activated bonus data despite not needing it right away, didn't realised you could probably do it if you're close to credit expiring
